Wonderful addition to work space
This purchase has allowed me to work eight hours a day at my computer with absolute support for my arms. I was getting terrible elbow and shoulder pains as I sat and wrote for extended periods of time. My massage therapist suggested I get a new desk. I have no budget or space for a larger desk in my office so adapting my current space was my only choice. This is an excellent solution that is affordable, easy to install and amazingly supportive. Give it a try.

Wish I'd found this sooner!
I have a beautiful, expensive L desk with a keyboard drawer, and found I was having shoulder and neck pain from poor ergonomics. I removed the drop-front for the keyboard drawer to install this extender, and already I can feel the difference. For one thing, I can actually recline in my office chair and type. Before, I was hunched over the keyboard tray. My mouse is also within closer reach, thanks to the cutout that creates a wraparound layout. What's also great is that this can be folded down and out of the way, which helps when I need to sit facing the main part of the L-Desk, or if I need to access the contents of the drawer on that side. My only criticism is that it could stand to be a bit wider. Ideally, you want your keyboard right in front of you, but if you do that with a standard-sized keyboard, there's no room for a mouse. Thankfully, I use a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard (no numberpad), so there's enough room to mouse comfortably. The black padded cover, btw, makes a great mouse pad! If they ever come up with a wider version, I will buy it! Update: I've been using it on and off as my desk setup has evolved. Still sturdy, still in like-new condition. I'm currently using it with a new sit/stand desk. I love that this allows me to route some of my input accessory cables UNDER the desk to keep things tidier. It's no longer quite wide enough, unfortunately, so my large (plastic) mousepad isn't fully supported - which is only really a problem when my cat tries to jump up onto it! Was disappointed to see how much the price has increased. Presumably more of the "COVID Tax" we're seeing on office products with everyone working from home. I would not have purchased this for its current price, but YMMV.

Pleasantly surprised with this
I have a small space that I am using as a home office and to extend my tiny desk have added a folding table next to it. I got this to add to that part of my setup when I need to shift after sitting all day. I do like that it folds up (luckily my table is tall enough that my legs don't hit it when down, but if you have a short table/high chair this might be an issue for you) It is relatively comfortable, and though has seemed really solid, still is something I am not comfortable putting a ton of weight on (though it seems like it could handle a fair amount). The spring noise when raising or lowering is so loud that it upsets and startles my pups, but considering the other options out there, this has been a decent fit for my unique needs.

Great angles and very sturdy. Took me a second to figure out the metal clamps.
This is exactly what I wanted, and very comfortable. I find it to be very sturdy, too. I had some trouble figuring out the metal clamps at first. I thought I had to press down on the button to make them open. But you just pull them back to change the angle of the board. I especially like the option to have it just a bit at an angle, instead of straight flat, I feel that is more comfortable. So glad I got this!

Great Ergonomic Armrest...
I have a small square adjustable desk (purchased from Amazon - SDADI 2 Inches Carpet Wheel Mobile Stand Up Desk Height Adjustable Home Office Desk With Standing and Seating 2 Modes 3.0 Edition). and needed something extra. This desk which is 24" wide. The clamps are about 2 " in on each side and are about 1 1/2" deep so they fit perfectly. It was easy to set up/install and use (directions included). Yes, it cost almost as much as the desk; however, it was worth it to find something that was the right size, ergonomically viable and folds down when not in use. I do not use as it shows in the picture as arms need to be at a 90 degree. I put the keyboard on the armrest and let my arms sit comfortably at 90 degrees. I'm a certified ergonomics tech and recommend this item.

How does this pass quality control?
Ordered this for the table in my camper. Didn’t get to the camper for about 6 weeks. Never thought I would have a broken part. One of the brackets was completely disconnected from the gray. I had a screw floating around in the box and knew it was a bad sign. Hopefully Amazon will grant me an exception for this poorly manufactured device.

functional and sturdy
I've had this for months now and it remains as sturdy as day one. I lean into it a bit at times as well, and it's holding up very nicely. At this desk, I wanted to get backed up away from my monitors on the stand because I couldn't push them back further. It works well for that purpose. The pad surface is soft to the touch yet has a sturdy cloth-like firmness, so it's not too soft and spongy, which allows the mouse to glide very nicely on it. There's room for the larger mouse base, a little wrist rest, and I can use the full-size keyboard without knocking the mouse off the end. In the slightly declined position, it's at a great angle and height where I can rest my wrist on the pad and my elbow and upper forearm on the padded armrest comfortably. I'm big on ergonomics and functionality, and this product is working great for what I need.

It cracks
It is confortable but I expected something faster to install and easier when folding the arm support. At first it looked good and of good quality. Weirdly, after 2 weeks of use it starts cracking like someone cut it with a knife. I now have long crack in the middle. Dissapointing because it was not cheap.

Disappointed - the screws are not long enough to hold. Had to purchase longer screws to put it together

This has worked wonders in giving my RV table decent extension for arm rests. The installation was a little challenging as I have a recessed lip to work around, but the parts came all separate and the plastic mount discs aren't attached so it makes it challenging to screw it together, aligning the discs with the tightening screws as you tighten them. But the colour, surface and added textile pad make this a great option if you're looking for better elbow/forearm rest solution with an existing table.

Have had this product for about a month. Just as pictured. Very handy addition to my MAC keyboard. Stays in place. Comfortable, adjustable. A bit pricey but I haven't found anything better.

Installation was easy, the included screws are preinstalled, so you have to unscrew them in order to mount them to the clamps.. Wish the clamp was padded on both sides so that it wouldn't damage the table, but that's just a minor nitpick. Table edges are sharp. Overall, it's a great product to help you repurpose an existing table so you can have an ergonomic desk experience.

All other keyboard extenders have clamps that are too wide, too deep or too high for my desk. _It has an open shelf int he middle, and two drawers on either side. So needed desk exetender to sit easily in betweent he two drawers. I only have 22" to fit the clamps and this is perfect. Distance from edge of clamp to edge of clamp is about 18.25'. Clamp height can be as short as 3.5" when its attached to a desk that is 0.5 inches. So this is super compact - the most compact I have found. Nicely ergonomic and though the claps are only 18.25' apart, the actual width of the shelf is almost 26' so you can fit a keyboard and mouse on it. (Keyboard will hang over edge onto desk as extender is not very deep -6' at its narrowest point, 9' deep where your arms rest to type. Hope this info helps others.
