Good for children learning to cook
Got this for my 7 year old and he’s been learning to chop veg with it. It can chop through an onion ok without being sharp enough to cause major injury!

As described
Bought for my son to help chop vegetables. Safe enough for him to use. He loves it

Excellent knife
This knife is excellent and actually chops things really well (we've tried apples, pears, grapes, cucumber, pepper etc and no problems). My son is 3.5 years old and can handle it without any problems. The design of the handle is fantastic too and let's him use quite a bit of force to chop harder things. He absolutely loves it and now insists on helping with every meal! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the finger protector is a bit hard for him to use and chop correctly with, though that may be because he's actually younger than the recommended age. It also encourages them to place their fingers in a position that's not really the best for cutting things properly, so we've ditched it and are just teaching him how to hold things correctly instead.

Great gift perfect for children
Perfect gift for my daughter who loves to help with cooking and food preparation. We have a set of plastic children’s knives that are difficult to use with things like carrots. This one works really well and is easy to hold and cut through vegetables etc.

Great grip. Too blunt
The size and grip on this is terrific. Very helpful for 6yr old with autism and difficulty controlling hand movements. The safety cover and fi ger grip are a nice touch. Disappointed in the sharpness, lack of. It's so blunt it would cut bread but little else. This is dangerous! A blunt blade means pushing down hard. Carrots went flying, cucumber was eventually cut (once id made small cuts in skinwith another knife), but fruit went to mush. Even 'sawing', this wasn't going to cut anything. Have had to sharpen to enable use

This bad boy cuts so much and I don't get nervous when my son uses it in the kitchen when he helps me chop food up to cook. Before, he would use regular kitchen knives and I was so nervous but this one takes that anxiety away. It is and isn't sharp.. if that makes sense.. he has chopped fruit with it and many veggies. We have not tried harder raw veggies like potatoes or carrots yet but so far, this thing is AWESOME! Plus it comes with a cover and a finger guard to train finger placement!

Klare Empfehlung!
