Spa day for soil
This is great to use for cleaning your soil of buggy’s before bringing plants in for the winter in colder climates. Ive been using it on my tropicals for the last 2 years. Or if your plants soil just needs a spa day, give it to them! A little goes a long way. I highly recommend.

a lil bit goes a long way. your plants will love it.
I use 1/32 of tbsp on 1 gal of plain water. and its enough for my plants. really foams up.

Must have product in container growing
It makes water so much weter. I know it sounds odd, but it does. It's acts like a lubricant. It loosen dry soil surfaces and hydrates your substrate quickly. Powdered yuca does the same but faster but at a higher price. Give it try, you won't be disappointed.

It's the real deal, good stuff!
Same sort of stuff you might've seen on BuildASoil's videos on youtube, this is Quillaja Extract Powder, just from another brand! Builds a good foam in the water when added in the correct amount, less is more unless you're using this as a soil drench/foliar! I fill a 5 gallon bucket with water and then add a SLIGHTLY rounded half-teaspoon measuring spoon of quillaja powder. Then pH the water accordingly.

Does what it says. But theres a caveat
Although it does what it says. I have had better saponins from different companies. This one does not seem as concentrated as others ive used. For some reason the color seems darker. Indicating to me the concentration is a bit weak. Also i have to use more to get the same affect. Normally i use 1 quarter tsp per gallon of water. And with this one its more like a full tsp per gallon. But it does do the job so im not complaining just telling the truth.

Good stuff!
As advertised, great product, with an even better price. 1/3 the cost of name brand products on Buildasoil.

Surfactant
Easy to add to reservoir and wets your water. Keeps water moving evenly through grow medium. Gets all the dirt wet not just parts.

Not the type of Quillaja I’ve seen and used - not taking the chance
I typically buy Build-A-Soil Quillaja Saponaria and have become accustomed to what the product looks and smells like. As soon as I opened this package from Cannaisseur I knew this was not the same stuff. The consistency and color is similar to ground cinnamon. The smell is very similar to a some sort of spice (not cinnamon) but it has a noticeable spicy odor. The Quillaja from Jay Plantspeaker at BAS looks and smells NOTHING like this stuff. So I’m not taking the chance with my very important indoor plants. Furthermore, this product from Cannaisseur says to use 1/2 tsp per gallon while the Build-A-Soil version says to use 1/8 tsp. So just right there alone - if I have to use 4 times as much to get the desired result, I’m not saving ANY money over the Build-A-Soil brand. It’s simply not worth the risk - who knows what this stuff actually is, there is no way to get any sort of lab verification from the seller or anything to back it up. At least with Build-A-Soil I watch Jeremy pour his product into the watering can and use it regularly on his YouTube series. Sorry but this is a return for me. Hopefully it saves all the rest of you looking for a cheaper version of the Q - just suck it up and buy the BAS version.
