The Competition Horseshoe is a premiere Tournament horseshoe that pitches easily and holds more ringers for both Backyard and Pro pitchers alike. If you were a fan of the now discontinued Tournament Diamond you will surely love the Competition Horseshoe by Omega! The Competition’s advanced design possesses improved weight distribution with more aggressive calks plus official, size, weight and opening dimensions. The Drop Forge DifferenceUnlike common big box horseshoe sets made of cast iron or low-quality steel (that often easily crack or break) Competition Horseshoes are manufactured using the top quality Gold-Standard Drop Forge process with premium AISI steel. Forging produces a unique internal grain structure that endows the exceptional strength and durability this shoe is known for (not the air pockets and internal voids common to cast horseshoes that cause breakage). A 1-year manufacturer warranty backs up the Competition’s High-Quality manufacturing. You pitch with quality when you Rise to the Competition. Perfect for Competing in the Backyard, Local Leagues and Tournaments, or even a World Horseshoe Championship.

What a great pair of Horseshoes!
I really enjoyed pitching with these sanctioned horseshoes. They are a little lighter than my old pair, which I love! The horseshoes have great balance and are well made. They hook really well to the peg to keep the ringers around the stake. I am looking forward in pitching and competing with the "Competition" Omega Shoes in tournaments and league. I highly recommend you purchase a pair and try them out!

Meh
Lighter than I thought they’d be (a little too light for my liking), but o guess they’ll do. I know they’re just horseshoes, but for close to $70 it would’ve made them not appear so “cheap” if the packaging was t a very flimsy light flat cardboard box (the box was ripped so bad from shipping them the shoes weren’t even in the box, only in the envelope) and the red paint job is not good. They are all dinged up with paint missing from many spots and looks like a bad spray painting job where some of the paint was goopy in a few areas. They’re going to get dinged up in play anyways, but overall a nicer package and a fully painted/nicely painted set would’ve been more appealing for the money.

Obvious quality
Horseshoes, right? Who knew that so many break during early use? Who knew some were cast and some were forged? These are drop forged. Who knew some you buy aren't 'regulation?' These are.Anyway, these are fine shoes, well (smoothly) finished and coated. I'm sure they'll last a lot longer than me.Now all I have to do is learn the 'single flip' - and unfortunately I won't be able to blame the horseshoe. Anymore.Randall

These aren't your children's play toy.
This set of horseshoes is heavy duty, high quality, and made to last. The blue coloring is brilliant and "pops." Be sure to have a good peg to use with these and not some cheap one that will fall over (trust me).

Great design
We are a family that pitches horseshoes frequently. These are awesome shoes. They are light weight, but still legal for tournaments. They have a great design.
