This is THE BEST outdoor/by the pool/by the water tanning lotion ever! I have used it in my tanning bed for years. It gives you a STUNNING rich, brown tan after just a couple of sessions. I will say the browning lotion doesn't absorb all the way so it does and will make a mess! But it does NOT stain ever, it washes right off. Once I am done tanning, I just take a dry towel and remove excess lotion. The after tan lotion is amazing and will turn any little burn into a beautiful tan overnight! My all time fave! It smells like mocha and coffee which makes sense because there's coffee as an ingredient!

I’ve been using the Maui Babe Before and After Browning Lotion for a few weeks, and it really helps get a nice, natural-looking tan. The “before” lotion preps your skin well, and the “after” lotion keeps your skin soft and hydrated, making the tan last longer. One thing to note: when you apply the lotion, your hands do get a bit brown, so I always make sure to wash them right after. It’s not a big deal, but definitely something to keep in mind if you don’t want stained palms! The lotion smells great—not too strong—and feels lightweight on the skin. Overall, I’d recommend it if you want that sun-kissed glow without any orange tint.

I have never had a tanning product work so well for me. First off let me start with saying that how quick it works is based off of where you are in the world in my experience. For example, if you are at the beach or an island or somewhere the sun is closer to the equator, it works quicker. If you are somewhere further north, it takes a bit longer, but still not by much. I would say only about a 15-30 minute difference for seeing results varying UV index. This product has definitely made it easier to tan living up north. And the aftercare lotion with this stuff is *chefs kiss*. I would put the aftercare stuff on after laying out on the beach and getting red like Larry the Lobster, then would wake up the next day with a tan and moisturized skin. Plus, with working, it makes it harder to spend my day soaking in the sun(sadly). But I still have a great tan after a week. Also, I am a skincare finatic and this did not make my face breakout or anything. (It does also have a sort of molasses smell but it really isnt horrible). So yes, buy the product. It’s so worth it.

The UV today was 7 and I tanned for 4 and a half hours. I’m very pale and burn quite quickly but the tanning lotion made me not burn anywhere even on my shoulders where I usually always do. It kind of smells bad, not super bad but like soy sauce or weird chocolate but it didn’t really bother me much. I showered and then used the after lotion and it was very thick, smelt like aloe very and left my skin with this kind of non slip feeling like how your hands feel after using a hotel soap. It’s not sticky more thick and rubs on nice, I’d recommend if your goal is to be a nice bronze

Love the lotion have used multiple bottles. It really does help prolong a suntan. Very moisturizing very nice scent. Like a you know Hawaiian tropical coconut pineapple scent little plumeria in there. But the bronzing cream stinks to high heaven. It was sticky and it was gross so I never used it and I won’t buy it again. Definitely by the lotion, but not the bronzer.

I am naturally so pale and have never been able to tan. I would always burn and peel. This stuff is incredible. Even if I burn, I use the after lotion and it prevents any peeling and tans me right up. I’ve never been able to naturally tan and now with this I am able to get a nice bronze tan going for the first time in 29 years! I am so happy. I will say that I used the browning lotion for a while by itself and when I ran out I bought this double pack with the after lotion. Using the after lotion is a game changer. You can tell it locks in the tan and my skin feels buttery smooth after using it. I do not like the way lotion feels on my skin.. usually sticky and heavy, but this lotion is amazing. It’s lightweight and leaves my skin feeling soft not sticky. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this product. One disclaimer.. if you are pale and plan to stay out for a while, also use some sort of sunscreen or you will burn faster. 10/10
