I got this thinking it would be a good fishing knife. It will be. And you could easily skin yourself, it is SHARP. Within 30 seconds after opening it, I moved my hand near the hand holding it and stabbed a hole in myself, knick? But it bled till I bandaged it.. Obviously misjudged both the length and sharpness.

Buck For the win!! Great starter for a novice and sharp when removing the skin from freshly caught rock fish filet. Easy to hold and control during use. Good price point too.

It is a 30 dollar knife that I gave a chance because of the Buck name...but was disappointed. I liked the ergonomics of the knife but it was not sharp from the start and could not fillet fish with this. Don't waste your time/money.
