Cooks well and I use it as a plate I bought another for my partner to use as a plate I warm it up for her and it holds the heat in well It has a good thickness to it but it's not to heavy. Definitely recommend it

Great purchase, arrived quickly… come in a little net bad, feels well made and solid? I can imagine it will distribute the heat pretty good along the bottom. I’ve not had a chance to use it yet but I’ve go no doubt it will perform great and last a long time. I like the handle folds in my old mine stick fire maple handle folded the opposite direction and was weak to the poInt I lost food on a weeks camp.. Anyway this one is welcomed addition to my camping kit.

I will only cook with stainless steel for health reasons. Camping pans tend to be aluminium which are prone to surface breakdown and accidental consumption. So after a long search I found this beauty. It is the perfect size for 4 rashers of bacon. I had to cook the mushrooms after. The trick to non stick cooking in stainless steel is heat the pan empty. Once a flick of water beads on the surface it is ready for adding the oil then the food. This pan is neither heavy nor light and so doesn’t distort with heat. The food cooked evenly and wasn’t too big for the campervan gas hob. The handle is sturdy and didn’t get hot. After use the handle folds into the pan. It comes in a mesh drawstring bag which was ideal to store the stainless steel gas kettle on top of and it didn’t rattle. Well worth the cost. I hope you found my review helpful.

I’ve only used this for a weekends worth of food but it has been a great, compact frying pan. The handle locks in place and is very sturdy while cooking. I made a bunch of bacon, sausages, eggs for breakfast for a few people and with a bit of scrubbing it all came off. Scrubbing too hard will leave scratch marks but can be bypassed with sponge pad. Comes with a netting which helps protect while travelling. For anyone who is weight conscious, this pan is probably not for you. Bit pricey but I think it will pay for itself in time with longevity. Overall, very pleased with it!

Love this pan. Built to last and perfect for the trail. It is a little weighty buy that's something I can put up with knowing that durability is a key component with this product. My only criticism is that it doesn't cone with a lid. Other than that, I would recommend this pan.

as always Fire Maple is excellent quality and second to none beautiful finish will withstand years of use with care, open the swing arm carefully and keep clean. Great quality and finish i love Fire Maple stainless products, even comes with a nice mesh bag for storage and protection.

Used for the first time on Saturday at the Lake District on a wild camp, a seriously quality made pan. Use a generous amount of oil and keep moving your food so it doesn’t stick, after a few uses I could tell it was becoming more non stick. This is now classed as one of my essential items when wild camping. Beast
