Superb Product!
This is a wonderful product for dry hands! It’s a wonderful product for hand protection too, if you are a gardener, a potter, or an artist working with pastels, etc. This is a Barrier lotion, that seals in your skin’s natural moisture to allow the skin on your hands to actually heal from within and stay healed. It can also help resist the finger and nail staining that plagues some gardeners and artists, too. (For gardeners: to prevent soil-staining under the nails, put a bit of lotion in your palm, and scrape your nails through it to get the lotion well under the nails.) For most people, their hands will feel more moisturized, softer, silkier and instantly transformed after their first application. But, it is NOT a greasy topical balm that simulates moistened skin—it is a smooth and soothing protective barrier for the skin that prevents hands from being repeatedly stripped of their natural oils and moisture as a result of repeated hand-washing. For those who complain each hand-washing had removed it—it didn’t! Once it is completely dry, it doesn’t get removed by hand-washing. The first subsequent hand-washing only sluices off the EXCESS of lotion that had been applied. It might be necessary to reapply it, though, if you wash your hands more than several times within a 4-hr. period, or if you wash your hands a few times with an extremely harsh detergent or cleaner of some kind. For most average users, though, applying a drop of it just a couple of times a day will likely be sufficient. For those with extremely or excessively damaged skin, it might take a couple of days of using it before you actually notice the healing process is taking place. It worked great for me on my dry, rough, sore skin upon the very first application of it, so I didn’t have that sort of a problem, but I suppose one could add some other kind of greasy cream or balm once the Gloves in a Bottle had dried completely, if that would make someone more comfortable while the healing process was taking place. Once the skin has healed, I would think just using this lotion would be sufficient to keep hands that way. For those who complain it flakes when applied repeatedly—you are using Wayyyy too much of it, and probably using it way too often, too! Only a small drop of this is necessary, and it works best when applied immediately after washing your hands and while they are still damp. So little of this lotion is necessary for each application that a bottle of it lasts a very long time, which actually makes it a fairly inexpensive product to use in the long run. I’ve been using this product for a few years now and wouldn’t want to be without it. No request from the maker of this product to leave a positive review of it has ever accompanied any purchases of it that I have made, so my review is completely and totally voluntary, and not influenced by anything except by my own experience as a user of this product. I consider it an extraordinary product that delivers superb results. That being said, if anyone suspected they might have suffered a severe sensitivity or allergic reaction to some ingredient in the product, I’d recommend they not continue to use it, of course. For anyone else who didn’t get the immediate results they’d expected, however, I’d strongly suggest giving the product a reasonable try and a reasonable length of time to help heal their hands. It’s really a remarkable product!

Beyond impressed with Gloves in a bottle...8-)
'Gloves in a bottle' I work P/T cleaning up and closing a deli. My hands have been destroyed with the bleach water, continuously washing dishes and exposure to the heat of the fryer and hot case. Rubber gloves are not an option. Both my thumbs and index fingers are so dry and cracked. My right thumb is deeply cracked and when I bump it it hurts so bad it brings tears to my eyes. I use a deep moisturizer when I get home but on my days off my hands and fingers get dryer and so much more tender to the touch. I felt I HAD to get 'Gloves in a bottle' as a last resort for comfort. My first use, I washed, moisturized then added 'Gloves in a bottle' and allowed to dry. I really thought my hands felt kind of greasy and had a shiny look from the 'Gloves in a bottle' originally. As I went about my day I realized they just felt moisturized. I am so used to dry hands with crackly patches having the moisture locked in with 'Gloves in a bottle' felt awkward. I did my first load of dishes after having it on for 2 hours. I must say my hands felt super weird wet after I was done. An hour later, the backs of my hands aren't super dry and extremely wrinkly like normal. They feel extremely soft and smooth. 8-) I will admit I did dip my right hand into a heavy solution of bleach water, 1 cup bleach 5 cups water, My left thumb and index finger feel a tiny bit dryer than they did before I started but NOTHING like they would have if I would not have used 'Gloves in a bottle.' My right thumb and index finger feel a bit drier than the left. I can definitely feel a difference between both hands. At this point I would recommend no heavy bleach solutions. At work we use a cap full to a gallon of water and I am anxious to test the results there. In the meantime, I am going to enjoy 'Gloves in a bottle' on my days off and the moist hands I have not felt in a very long time. The second day my hands feel like they have a great covering on them after having applied it 5 times since receiving 'Gloves in a bottle.' I wash my hands about 20 times a day when I am at home they are still moisturized. I have used regular lotion before I reapplied 'Gloves in a bottle.' My index fingers are completely moist with no dry patches. Tomorrow, I work and will KNOW how well 'Gloves in a bottle' performs by the time I get home. My hands do feel like there is a protective layer covering them with no odor or greasiness. I did apply it further up my arms each time and even my arms are staying very moist. My third day and true test of 'Gloves in a bottle' was my day of work yesterday. The open sore on my thumb is not tender, almost completely closed and healing quite nicely this morning. All dry patches are gone. I am actually quite shocked at the fact it didn't take long to realized I WILL be purchasing more 'Gloves in a bottle' in smaller bottles to put in my purse because it worked so well. I will have to use 'Gloves in a bottle' on my breaks because of the fact my hands are in water a great deal while at work. I have faithfully washed, added a moisturizer and allowed it to soak in before applying 'Gloves in a bottle' every 4 hours of my waking time. I am COMPLETELY impressed with the immediate results 'Gloves in a bottle.' Even my son noticed my hands look 100% better than they did the day the order came in. I really regret that I didn't have him take pictures of my right thumb before I started using 'Gloves in a bottle'. I seriously would not believe it if I had not experienced it myself. I really like that it doesn't take a large amount for a nice layering, it is not thick and greasy and it works on my arms just as well as on my hands....8-) I could not be more impressed or happier!!! 8-)

This Barista is Pleased.
I work as a barista for a corporate company and recently began having severe reactions to the dish detergent and sanitizing chemicals (mostly from the wrist and down my hands). I have tried a number of lotions - working hands, eczema relief types, Aquafore, salves and lotions from Burt’s bees... and my hands either had an even more painful response/reaction or just maintained. I was skeptical of this brand due to my reactions from other name brands but ended up getting the smallest size bottle to sample. I actually bought heavy duty dish gloves recently and in combination of the two... my hands have had a HUGE improvement. They are not back to normal completely... but the red irritation similar to dermatitis has gone down to my normal skin complexion and my hands are no longer in excruciating pain. I wash my hands a lot and I still try to reapply this lotion (even though it says it’s unnecessary) due to the amount of chemicals around my store. I am noticing that my fingers are the areas that the lotion comes off the most (more than likely due to the amount of sanitizer I handle on rags and such) - but I am thoroughly delighted and pleased by the effects so far. My husband has eczema and I have asked him to try this lotion as well, in addition to his medicated prescribed creams. Hopefully we can see good results there as well. Thank you for being TRULY hypoallergenic. It was a relief to put it on and NOT feel GREASY or thick. I can tell it’s on my hands but it’s a light pleasant experience and doesn’t burn or sting. Sincerely, Corey’s Wifey

Like a Glove
Amazing lotion. Makes my hands feel silky smooth, not greasy. You only need a very, very small amount..extremely seriously. It penetrates immediately...? less than a minute & I can handle things with no problem of waiting to be able to do that with other lotions. If you use too much, it will take much longer till you can touch anything.

Works wonders
My skin hates me in the winter especially my hands. It doesn't help that I work outdoors either. I tried so many other products but they didn't seem to work or were to greasy. I was using O'Keeffe working hands and liked it but after a single wash I was back at square one. I was going to superglue the cracks on my fingertips but I changed my mind. I did some searching and found this stuff. I put some on before bed and I noticed it dried pretty quick and no greasy feeling. The next morning there was signs of my cracks healing. I continue using the product daily and is my favorite.

Probably best for an overnight lotion
Nice product if you never wash your hands. Just put my hands under water and the lotion washed off like it was never on. So may be good if you barely wet or wash your hands but for someone who is constantly in the water, not worth the high price because I am literally washing it away. Maybe ok for overnight with regular continuous use but cannot use for daytime unfortunately for me.

Godsend
This stuff has saved my hands and I’ll use it for the rest of my life as long as it exists. I dealt with extremely dry hands no matter how much lotion I’d try to apply during the day which was multiple times a day and my hands were either dry and bumpy and cracking, or greasy with all the lotions I would try. I had to wear gloves anytime my hands and water were involved except for shower and stopped washing my hands which I hated. Nothing ever changed. Then I tried this and my hands were healed within a week. I get my hands wet with water and let it soak in, then I use a glycerin lotion (neutrogena Norwegian hand cream) let that soak in, then put this on top and my hands are good to go all day even with hand washing and cleaning. In winter I apply 2-3 times a day and in summer only before bed. No more dry bumps and painful cracks. Years of painful dry hands gone.

Miracle cream
A bit of history: my daughter (now age 9) has struggled with eczema for years. But last summer and this summer it moved to her feet, to the point where after swimming the first couple times of the season, her feet peeled and cracked and became extremely painful to walk on. For all of last summer, and the first 5 weeks of this summer, she has cried every night going to bed about the pain she was in (or if not pain, intense itching that kept her up at night and made her scratch until her feet were raw) - her feet were full of cracks and multiple layers of peeling skin. I have purchased hundreds of dollars in various creams over the years, trying to give her some relief. The doctor only confirmed it was eczema and prescribed a high-dosage steroid cream, which I didn't feel comfortable using longer term, and really didn't help much anyway. We became convinced her issue was her feet getting wet, and once they were wet they would essentially shred, even with pool shoes. The only option was to keep her out of water, which just isn't feasible in the summer in the south (we live in GA). Once we finally narrowed down to it being caused by prolonged water exposure like a pool or lake (she has no issues through the winter or with just regular showering), I started looking into products that would protect her from that, kind of like wearing some kind of waterproof socks, and found this. I ordered it, figuring it would likely just be just another cream in the bucket that didn't do what it said, but I was willing to try anything. First, we kept her out of the water for 1.5 weeks. It wasn't easy, but necessary (we turned down pool birthday parties and anything involving water for that time). Over that time, her feet began to heal, but we also began applying this cream, twice daily. I loved that it was thin, smelled good, went on easy, but ultimately seemed to coat her feet and make them feel soft. After a few days, she was going to bed without pain, and sleeping all night, for the first time in weeks. I don't know if it was the cream that helped that, or just the lack of water exposure. But then came the true test - she was going to be in water, and not only that, was going to camp where she would be swimming every day. We made sure to apply the cream at morning and at bedtime, and also before getting into the water. She still wore her water shoes as a precaution. After 3 days of swimming, you wouldn't have even known it, her feet still looked so good. I was honestly in a bit of disbelief, as normally her feet would have been just shredded and peeling and cracking, and extremely painful. After a week at camp (so a total of 8 consecutive days in the water), she came home to us in great spirits, running around in her sneakers (prior to this she could barely walk, much less run). Her feet almost look like everyone else's, you would never known what they had looked like only 2 weeks prior. This has changed my daughter's summer life. And ours. The stress we felt every day, knowing the pain (both physical and emotional) she was in, was significant. It seems crazy to say, but this product has allowed our daughter to be a 9 year old again, enjoying the pool and friends and for once feeling normal, like everyone else. Not only that, it's easy to apply, smells good, and truly coats the skin. I have told everyone I know about this, and especially all my friends who have walked this journey with us and our daughter. I know most use it for their hands, but it works just as well on the feet, we have a walking testimonial in our house right now to that. I can't express what a relieved and thankful mama I am.
