Our 10 year old Cat Oscar was diagnosed with CKD and Hyperthyroid in late October /22. He had shown signs of illness, weight loss and excessive drinking water and we knew something wasn't right with him. We were very concerned about his health and took him to the Vet for a checkup. The blood work showed very high levels Creatine, Bun, Urea, Hypothyroid etc. The Vet wanted to put him down that same day. She claimed he was untreatable and had stage 4 CKD and In combination with hyperthyroid there was nothing that could to be done for him. We had no idea he even had these illnesses, despite regular yearly Vet checkups, blood work has always been good. Needless to say we were devastated by these news. I told the Vet I wanted a second opinion, as I could not accept that he would be put to sleep without offering us other solutions or finding alternative treatments. I started researching all about CKD+ hyperthyroid illnesses. It turns out that it is very common in older cats to have both illnesses at the same time. We were determined to save our beloved cat. We started him on a strict wet food-renal diet only, (no more kibble) with extra fluids in the food and mixed in with Epakitine - phosphate binder+ supplements like Omega 3 krill, probiotics, beef liver powder for his anemia. Zink on a daily basis. We also got a Second Opinion and changed our Vet. We found a great clinic where they actually wanted to help us to find a solution to Oscars illnesses and save his life. ( 01-12-23) The new Vet did blood work on Oscar and this time it showed the Creatine, Bun and Urea had come down a lot, but I knew in order for his health/ kidney function to improve even more he needed Kidney Support Gold. ( had already read all about the product) Since 14 Feb/23 he has now been on Kidney Gold, 4 drops morning + night in his renal wet food. He showed improvement in appetite and had more energy within days. He comes out for daily walks in the forest with us and is looking very well now. He sleeps through the night now, and the night howling has stopped completely. The excessive drinking has also stopped. His latest blood test at the Vet was last week. 03-07-23 The lab work had improved so much in a short period of time. Urea: 20. Down from 28.3. Creatine: 141. Down from 180. Phos: 1.53. Down from 3.6 Bun: 35. Down from 44. He is doing so well on these drops! It was vital for us to get his kidney levels down as he would otherwise not be a candidate for the Radio Iodine Treatment he is getting next month. But, the Vet approved him for the treatment thanks to his improved Kidney levels. We are extremely happy for these amazing results. We know he will have to take Kidney Gold and Epakitin for the rest of his life to control his kidney disease, but he likes the taste of the drops, they are easy to give in his food and they work wonders! Our cat is 18 yo and starting to slow down. These drops have helped him tremendously. Not as lethargic and seems to be feeling better. Appetite and mobility have improved.

This is NOT a substitute for needed medications to control creatinine, phosphorous or other markers of kidney issues. This is adjunct only and please inquire with the manufacturer if this product will work well with any current medications or supplements to avoid negative interactions. When my biggest boy was diagnosed with CKD earlier this year, I checked out Petwellbeing for options. This isn't a cure but I hope the ingredients help normalize/stabilize him and give him the best days possible for as long as possible. Vet said no way of really knowing how long or how well managed we can expect as it depends on so many variables but for now, he is stable. He eats, gained weight and acts just like his normal self. As far as vet prescribed therapy, he gets sub q at home 3x a week, stool softener and aluminum hydroxide plus his prescribed renal diet. I add this supplement at a rate of 1 drop to every 2 lbs 2x a day in his food as suggested on the label. He is not a picky cat and eats it with no issue. I have been pleased with the manufacturer's responses to questions as well as their products so I will continue to purchase.

This really works !! I have an older, former community/feral cat with renal/kidney failure. He was clearly going down hill quick. I figured I would try this as I had nothing to loose. Within the same day of starting him on Kidney Support Gold, he looked so much better. He really was like a new cat. His appetite is back, his fur is looking better, and his eyes are clear and full of life, and he is no longer spending his day drinking water all day and/or urinating. Before this product, he would empty his water bowl daily. I am very impressed with the product. I have added over the counter Senior Cat Food (canned) as it has less protein and easier on the kidneys. Don't waste you money on the expensive Vet provided/sold Special Diet foods, get this instead. My cat like the taste of it. Three drops mixed in with his food, is all it takes. Highly recommended product !!!

My cat is almost 19 years old and has been diagnosed with renal disease. The last time I took her to the vet I was told that she her health was deteriorating and I had to consider euthanizing her. I read great reviews about this product and decided to give it a try. I've been putting in her food for two weeks and her health has definitely improved. She is more mobile, talkative, grooms herself more and has her appetite back. I know that this isn't a cure, but it has noticebly improved her quality of life in her last days.

This product is amazing! I have a 21 year old feral cat who I can't touch but she has decided it is safe to live in our back yard and back porch. About 3 years ago she began showing all the signs of kidney failure but I wasn't able to get it to a vet. I purchased this along with another kidney product and give it to her in her food, She remarkably regained condition and has continued to do well. This year she is becoming more frail and I don't know how much longer she will be here but this product has been instrumental in giving her another good 3 years of quality life and then some. I highly recommend it.

PRoduct arrived well, I used it for a about 3 weeks slightly different to instructions, giving total dose in one feed. Queried my understanding of the instructions with Customer Service Team. Jen went over and above with her quick response, compassion, and thorough explaining of the way the product works. As a result I amended the way I fed my 17 year old cat (borderline kidney issues) to two daily doses, and I think he is doing better. Certainly has a better appetite and seems to have put on weight, though I haven't weighed him. Will be interesting to see how he is at next vet check up. Glad I found this.

traitement insuffisance rénale chronique de mon chat, en complément du traitement allopathique du vétérinaire ,de plasma de quinton, de luminothérapie. il a 17 ans et se porte très bien malgré sa pathologie (car en plus de l'insuffisance rénale, hypertension et hyperthyroidie, plus un peu d'anémie). il a eu aussi beaucoup de remèdes Beljanski et du viscum en sous cutané.ainsi que des perfusions sous cutanées aussi de plasma de quinton isotonique que je lui fais s'il se déshydrate du fait de son insuffisance rénale mais surtout cet été avec la canicule. le pet wellbeing a contribué à son amélioration. je vais lui refaire une urée créatinine pour vérifier de son efficacité.

I've had the pleasure of reviewing more than one item from this company, and they never seem to disappoint> Now, as with any animal care ingested product, I need to caution that there are limitations as far as reviewing the effectiveness of a product. Most of these types of items are for long-term health benefits and so really a review like this is limited to the things I can observe. What I see here is an additive that our cats will consume without any trouble and an ingredients list that I would normally associate with assisting in kidney function. The product seems well made and it's already a brand I use for other cat health supplements. As for the importance of kidney support, one major evolutionary disadvantage all cats have is inferior kidney function. That's why giving them the best possible support in that area is so important to support longevity. Practically all senior cats suffer from some amount of reduced kidney function and in a lot of cases it's considerable. This product should provide some long-term assistance with our cats kidney function.

Bought multiple products from this company for our dogs and cats, and they do really seems to gently help in the background, improving overall picture for them, so very grateful for these excellent products! They definitely make pets more stable (urinary tract in this case - noticed less frequent peeing for cat), especially on senior dogs and cats.
