As our cat, Brother, has aged (he's 12) he has developed a tendency to throw up after eating. After conferring with our veterinarian, we switched both his "hard" and "soft" food to Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin. Three weeks into the new diet and Brother has thrown up only once; a HUGE improvement from once a day. We're very pleased with the results.

Top quality food. My cat LOVES the pouches over the cans of kibble because of the gravy. He will lick up all the gravy first and then leave, come back later for the bits of food. And I LOVE them because that gravy increases their hydration. Cats need wet food daily for hydration, since it doesn't come natural to them to drink adequate amounts of water because in the wild their hydration would mainly come from their food. Thus, many cats suffer from UTI and kidney disease today. And the signs are easy to miss and often overlooked. So hydration is very important. A good quality food like Hill's that has gravy in it is perfect. And we always choose the Sensitive variety for my cat — as it was the first one amongst all the foods we went through after we adopted him and began to recognize his sensitivities and digestive issues he had, that he tolerated well AND also enjoyed. So we've stuck with this brand ever since.

My kitty loves it

My cat loves to lick at the juice of the little meat niblets but will not eat the chewables. For what it’s worth, even just eating the juice seems to help his tummy and he has less diarrhea. The smell is horrible if they don’t finish their food after a day and it goes bad easily. Watch out for mold in your cats dish!

Good for your cats health

I’m sure it’s good for cats but my cat would not eat any of this. Maybe it was so healthy tasting for him because he’s a spoiled fatty or just nasty, I don’t know, but if you want to feed your cat a healthier meal you’ll probably have better luck with buying chicken and cooking it for your cat instead.

Wow, my cat just loves this

If your cat has a sensitive stomach then this is the best wet cat food out there. I really love that the food seems to be more fresh than puréed and your typical cat food. The broth and cubes of meat/fish are great sizes. My cat has not had any issues since switching to science diet wet food.
