Q: Will it give you a clean shave? I've been looking for a razor that gives a clean shave for a long time.

It does when it works. It seem to skip so I find myself going over the same area few times.

Q: How long does silver foil last? Is this appropriate for beginners?

It's hard to say how long, as it depends on the strength of the beard, how long you shave and how well you clean it. However, on average, it is between 10 and 12 months. If you want to try electric shaving, this would be a good option.

Q: Does it have a charger base?

It doesn't have a charger base, but it can stand upside down when you put the lid on, which is handy for draining water from the blade head

Q: Is this good for teenagers who are just starting to shave?

Sure. It's not abrasive to the skin, excellent close shave, batteries last about a month used every day. Simple and much better than my expensive Braushave.
