I’ve been wanting a Brazilian blowout for a long time, but was really hesitant to spend hundreds of dollars. I also have pretty fine hair by curly standards to I’m always a little nervous chemical treatments will be too harsh. I tend to straighten/wave my hair a lot, but it gets frizzy and curly and the slightest sign of humidity. I cannot believe how well this product worked on my hair. The pictures included are my natural hair, immediately after treatment, air drying after the shower, and styled with only a few minutes of a round brush and hair dryer. It was easy to apply myself, didn’t smell too chemically, and left my hair feeling really soft and frizz-free. I was afraid it would make my hair that unnatural stick-straight, but that didn’t happen at all. I even exercised outside in super humid weather a couple days after the treatment, and my hair was still straight and frizz-free afterwards. I will 100% be buying this again.

Worth the money and works very well for thick or thin hair.

Ok so this product is not a relaxer. It is a keratin treatment which helps your hair be smoother and frizz free. I have fine hair, it is somewhere between wavy and curly. I got tired of blow drying and straightening my hair only to have it frizz up at the first sign of moisture in the air. I applied this treatment to my hair in November and im just starting to see signs of frizz. With the treatment my hair remains silky, straight, and smooth until I wash it again. Even when I wake up in the morning my hair looks great (i use a sating pillow case btw). I plan on doing the treatment again. Its easy to use too. Just check you tube for videos on different ways to apply.

This is my first review ever. But I wanted to share my experience so no one else experiences my fustration. Before I bought this product I read all reviews and I don't understand now why people had written good reviews for this product. This product is super expensive compared to similar ones on the market, the size is super small and it damaged my hair, it did'nt straighten my hair at all, as advertized. Now I'm thinking of cutting my hair cause is super dry, without shine, I still have to blow dry it everytime I wash it, because this keratin kit is a scam, leaves your hair dry and burnt. I put hair relaxer in my hair. While my hair is resistant to even the strongest Mizani relaxer I got, keratin usually helps hold even more straightness when I flat iron my hair and even after I wash my hair. This keratin seems to be strong and holds my hair bone straight, but then my hair start getting wavy after a week. Do not buy this product, because you will be wasting money constantly having to use it every week and you do not get a lot in the bottle. It is like a fake keratin treatment. I use the Choco Coco keratin, which is much better than this and holds the bone straightness of my hair longer. Also, the smell of the product is not anything bad, but the smell is a bit irritating and can be bad for you, and the smell does not wear off on the first day when you put it in your hair. Once you start playing with your hair, the smell gets on your hands and you smell the keratin all day long even if you are not sniffing your hands.

Works well. Quality product. I used this at home. It did a better job than I had at a Salon.

First time doing at home hair chemical straightening, so I was a bit nervous. I took a chance after reading the reviews and watching few videos. I am not professionally trained hair person. It worked for me. It’s definitely worth doing this at home for this price! It was a bit time consuming, but it would have cost me same amount of time in a salon plus lots more money. I got all mine tools and accessories ready before I started and that helped making it all go easily from one step to another. Once it was all done as per directions, I left the hair unwashed till next day. I washed it with the provided conditioner only and the following day washed it with regular shampoo I would normally use. I use Kevin Murphy brand, so it is very gentle on hair and won’t strip the chemical. Overall I am very happy with the outcome because the hair looks just like when I had it done at the salon. I still have plenty of the treatment left to use it once again in few months. I’m definitely recommending this to anyone who would get their hair professionally straightened. It’s not complicated and the result is wonderful.

Ça fait déjà 2 semaines que j'ai reçu le produit et que j'ai fait le traitement. Le résultat est assez satisfaisant pour moi. En tout, ça a pris 5h de mon temps, le même temps qu'en salon à une fraction du prix. Pour le moment, le résultat est très similaire à celui que j'obtiens en salon, évidemment, j'ai dû sortir la coiffeuse en moi ! :) Le produit avait coulé dans la boite quand il est arrivé, mais, bizarrement, il ne semblait pas avoir été ouvert, le sceau était toujours bien là et étanche, bien que faible (le film plastique semblait s'être étiré). Il dégage une odeur douce et absolument pas désagréable. Donc, il ne semble effectivement pas y avoir de formaldéhyde. Les essentiels : un bon fer plat qui maintien 450 degrés, DU TEMPS et beaucoup de patience. Shampooing/revitalisant sans sulfate, sans parabène ni phosphate - j'utilise les produits Moroccanoil que j'aime beaucoup. Je suis un mélange et j'ai les cheveux frisés, à la limite du crépus, au milieu du dos (ligne soutien-gorge), alors dès que j'essaie un nouveau produit du genre, je doute de ses capacités à lisser de façon efficace, mais surtout de façon durable. Et là, je dois dire que je suis très satisfaite du résultat obtenu. Mes cheveux sont lisses (comme après la coiffeuse), ils sèchent rapidement et supportent très bien l'humidité... vous savez ces jours de pluie ou l'humidité est très élevée !? Comme je devais surtout me concentrer sur une repousse d'environ 3-4 po, j'ai eu assez de la petite bouteille de produit. J'ai appliqué sur les repousses, par très petites sections et j'ai peigné pour étirer aux pointes. J'ai laissé agir pendant 1h. Les instructions disent ensuite de sécher, AVEC LE PRODUIT, mais j'ai rinsé légèrement car il laissait trop de résidus sur ma brosse et la buse du séchoir. Après avoir séché, j'ai séparé ma tête en 4 et j'ai passé le fer plat. C'est ici que la magie opère ! J'ai passé une douzaine de fois juste sur la racine, ensuite une dizaine de fois sur la longueur de la repousse et 2-3 fois sur les pointes, pas plus, pour ne pas les affaiblir. Je prenais de fines mèches à la fois. Cette partie est vraiment la plus importante pour avoir un bon résultat. Définitivement, je vous conseille ce produit, il donne un bon résultat. Mais, il fait jaunir les cheveux blancs. Eh oui ! Tout comme le produit que ma coiffeuse utilise, celui-ci fait jaunir les cheveux blancs. Comme j'étais déjà habituée à ça, ça ne me dérange pas trop. Dans mes cheveux, il donne l'impression de mèches gold. Un bon shampooing bleu sans sulfate ni parabène et le tour est joué. L'effet se dissipe après quelques lavages. Somme toute, une belle économie de 350$ pour moi! Je ne sais pas combien de temps il va durer dans mes cheveux, mais je considère que même si je dois recommencer dans trois mois, le résultat promis est obtenu. Ps. Ce n’est pas un vrai avant/après. La photo des cheveux frisés est pour vous donner une idée de comment mes racines étaient frisées. Et la deuxième, c’est 2 semaines après le traitement.

Très bon résultats au niveau de la brillance, mais pas de lissage à court/long terme. Et pourtant j'ai suivi la version longue du processus. Et j'ai les cheveux ondulés et pas difficiles à coiffer. La quantité suffit pour des cheveux courts mais ça devient plus difficile une fois dépassé les épaules.

I bought this product for the first time as I was using a different keratin straightening product but it didn’t hold for longer than a week so I wanted to try something new. It was easy to use and the smell was not bad at all. My last product, I would have fumes so bad my eyes would be watering but this one there were no issues. I have dark hair and after the process my hair went red and needed to be dyed the next day. I know it says you’re not supposed to dye your hair until at least a few weeks after, but there was no way I could go out with the red hair that I ended up with. I dyed it the next day and the product still stayed in my hair and it was still super straight. As for the way, the product feels, it is absolutely amazing! I am Middle Eastern, and have really curly hair that takes a long time to dry and this allowed me to dry my hair in less than 10 minutes. I will say that it makes it poker straight, which I found challenging because I have a pixie cut. Having said that I was able to curl it a bit with my flat iron and still stylet it the way I like. My hair felt soft and manageable after using this product. It’s only been two days and it still works well. Will update if things change .

This product works well, I’m unsure how long it will last as it’s been 2 weeks and is fading a fair bit.
