I bought this suit for swimming in moderately chilly water (55 - 70 F, or 12.8 - 21.1 C). The suit is perfect for this. I've tested it out twice already in water that was 58 - 62 F (14.4 - 16.7 C), and I was able to stay in the water indefinitely. Normally I would only be able to swim for 5 - 10 minutes in water this chilly (if I even managed to get in at all)! But with the suit I was able to swim for an hour and a half without getting cold. The only reason I got out of the water was that I became hungry/thirsty/tired! I should've bought one of these suits years ago! People on the beach kept asking me where they could get one, because they noticed I was the only person who was swimming comfortably and staying in the water for more than 10 minutes. I bought a size medium. I am 5'3" (160 cm), 130 lbs (~60 kg), measurements 35-27-36 (89.9-68.6-91.4 cm). The medium fits me very well: it's tight, but not so tight that it restricts my movement. Sometimes a trickle of cold water will run down my back or up the sleeves, so I guess my wrists and neck must be proportionally a little smaller than average. But since the water I'm swimming in is only moderately cold, this isn't much of an issue. Also, I bought some neoprene gloves as well, which easily fixes the issue of chilly water running up my sleeves. So it's really just the occasional trickle of cold water down my back that's an issue (& again it's a small issue). I'm not a diver; I don't know anything about wetsuits in general. But I can definitely say that this suit is great if you love to swim but hate cold water.

UPDATED REVIEW: I upgraded the review to 4 starts due to the sellers excellent post-return service. They contacted me through Amazon and provided a free replacement of the wetsuit, which they deemed was defective. They did not have to take that action, and it shows a commitment to ensure their customers are satisfied with the product. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The one-star review is because the zipper broke after just 3 uses. The zipper did not bind or stick when it broke. As moved the slider up, one of the zipper chains came out of the slider. Since the slider is plastic, there is no way to reinsert the separated chain. In addition, the stops are plastic, and cannot be removed without risking damage to zipper or the garment. I had to wear polyester rash guard shirts over the wetsuit to provide some closure for the open front where the zipper should have closed the suit. The fit of the wetsuit was very good in all places, except the cuffs were slightly large on me. It was adequately warm enough for diving in the Caribbean off of Mexico. The front zipper was helpful (when it worked) due to a shoulder injury I suffered before diving. As a new diver, it was disappointing to have an equipment failure after my 3rd dive ever.

I am a volunteer diver at my local aquarium and use this wetsuit all the time. It really is perfect for that, since I’m only diving for an hour. The seal on the neck, wrists and ankles are that great and water does get in so not great for long dives or deep dives.

I wanted to extend my summer workout in the pool and this was a great investment. I live in Arizona and we have an outdoor pool. This past summer I started doing an hour workout in the pool and wanted to extend it into the fall. With this suit I was able to continue my workout in the pool until the end of October. Picking the right size can be a bit tricky as all of the listings don't have all the proper measurements to make a correct choice. This particular suit was too long in the torso (no torso measurement was listed). Everything else fit fine with the exception of the wrists. I have really small bones and the wrist cuff was not tight on my wrist and let water in. The suit is made well made and easy to get in and out of. The zipper is in the back and did not have a pull attached to be able to zip or unzip if there is no one to help you. I took a shoelace, shortened it and attached to the zipper pull and was able to zip or unzip the suit myself. I highly recommend this suit.
