I was reluctant to buy a Faja that doesn't have adjustable hooks, but the price of this, on sale, was a fraction of other brands, so I decided to give this model a try. After having a Tummy Tuck and Lipo 4 months ago, and watching many many vlogs before and after, a few recommended the ShaperX brand. I have purchased about 10 fajas of different brands in the last months, and this is the 3rd model of ShaperX. ShaperX makes their Fajas differently than others. Usually, they are made from PowerNet, and can cost upwards of $200 for a post-surgical garment Colombian faja. Shaperx uses a type of Neoprene mix, which I am finding so much better. They feel much softer on the skin, but provide more support. The Neoprene gives it somewhat of a Suana Suit feel, so that I can really feel the inflammation go down each time I wear it. So with this model specifically, I loved it for a few reasons. Though I have other models that have hooks, in which case I can really adjust the faja to fit my more hourglass shape, which I love.. but with this model, I am constantly told how small/ slim I look. With the PowerNet Fajas, I usually have to wear something underneath, because they irritate the skin. That isn't a problem here, as this is that Neoprene I mentioned. this model provides amazing support, but is still comfortable in terms of fit. The material doesn't stretch so much, making it wonderful for holding the body together. . What made this product unique though, was the back. In addition to the tummy tuck, I have full back Lipo, to give the illusion of a BBL. this is the ONLY Faja I have found that provides proper support all the way down the lower part of the back. I wish I had this months ago! It would have helped with inflammation so much! I purchased the large and the medium, so that now that I am finally feeling the inflammation go down properly, I know I'll soon need a smaller size, and the price of Shaperx is normally amazing, but on sale, its a must have. It is a thong fit though, so your backside still hangs out below, to give it a nice effect and maximize the BBL illusion, not with tight silicone bands under the back side, like other models, but by shaping the back properly. Just beautiful I do wish the thong didn't ride up so much, but I learned to adjust the straps to pull the Faja down, so thats less of an issue. And honestly, It just might be my backside, deliberately shaped to flourish. Also, I had to adjust and pull so that my tummy incision was properly covered, as my incision of my TT was especially low- this likely won't be a problem for others, as this very low scar is because of my special case, and TT dont normally go as low as mine Honestly, ShaperX is the only Faja brand that I have been comfortably able to wear all day and not think about it. After wearing plus sizes all my life, and now being in the regular sizes, it's so nice to feel how small I can look with this shaper. I do love it.

My advice would be dont follow the size chart ,and go for size smaller ..i picked up size exactly according to the chart recommendations bt Faja was not loose and now after wearing it 2 twice i washed it and it has become more lose..so doesnt fulfill the purpose..however its well made and double layered with thick fabric .

I'm a 2X breast cancer survivor and have had 5 breast surgeries (among other surgeries). I say that so it's understood that I have had to wear my fair share of compression garmets. I originally bought this for use after diep flap surgery (breast surgery #4) but it didn't seem right when I attempted to put it on. It seemed too small and too hard to put on. I felt it would have hurt the healing incisions on my stomach just trying to get it on. Also those incisions required daily care and i had drains to deal with at first. Fast forward 3 months later to my revision surgery and it is perfect. This surgery involved fat graphing to the breast using fat liposuctioned from the abdomen and saddlebag area. 1 day after surgery I am comfortable and i feel well compressed in my whole abdomen area (I have a long torso). Going to the bathroom hasn't been too bad either. I just unhook the clasps and go. I have been hooking only 2 of the 3 clasps down there. The only thing that makes it a little difficult for me is I don't have all of my arm range of motion from prior surgeries but I still make it work. After using the restroom, I pull the back flap forward as much as I can and then hook it to the front flap. With all my other compression garmets usually I become uncomfortable somewhere or I don't feel properly compressed where I need to be. A couple of my good ones seem to cut into the top of my inner thigh after a few hours. This one has been so comfortable. The nurse told me to bring my compression garmet to surgery and they will put it on me afterwards. So I woke up from surgery with this garmet on yesterday morning. I noticed the right side shoulder strap was on twisted on both my compression garmet and bra (most of the work was done on the right side). I was starting to correct it and straighten them out but thought it might have been done on purpose so I left it that way. After seeing some of the comments complaining about straps cutting into their shoulder, im starting to think it's why they did my straps this way. The whole strap cannot cut into my shoulder now. I don't know for sure if that's why they twisted those straps but i thought i'd pass it along in hopes that it helps someone else with that issue. Before and after diep flap surgery I was 5'6 and 181 pounds. My measurements before yesterday's revision surgery was 40-35-43. I was on the border of both size large and XL but I'm really glad I had the large for this surgery. Luckily it was a perfect fit but if it was any tighter it wouldn't have worked. I hardly ever write reviews but as I'm sitting here comfortably 1 day after surgery (with nothing else to do lol) I felt i should share my experience with this garmet since it's not rated 5 stars. That held me back from purchasing it for months and then when I did it wasn't right for the first surgery 3 months ago but it was perfect for this surgery. I'm glad i didn't rate this back then. Sometimes a garmet isn't the right one for certain situations but it doesn't mean it isn't perfect for others. If after washing and wearing this again it holds up well, I will be purchasing another one. As of now this is a 5 star item for me

This is a very good shapewear with excellent quality. It features a zipper and hook closure, which allows for a great fit and proper adjustment. The bottom part can be opened, which is very convenient when needed. The fabric is strong, high quality, and provides very good compression, helping to shape the body nicely. I’m giving it four stars because, in my case, I have a larger bust and the straps feel a bit uncomfortable. Overall, it’s a very good shapewear and does its job well.

Product fits as expected and described. I was surprised to see it arrive with a zip because it wasn’t shown in picture descriptions or other reviews. I was hoping for a seamless feel and look and disappointed that I won’t be able to achieve my desired look.
