I purchased this device to help me make over 200 holes for hurricane anchors in cinder block house. Had no issues.

First, I do have the right chuck for this mounting, 43mm as required. Outwardly this is a decent unit. It seems well thought out from assembly to use. Although assembly was easy. It was apparent from the get go that this would not drill 90degrees as stated. I tried shims of various types in various places and even wrapped my drill collar in thin strips of metal from one to se El layers of aluminum foil to a 1/32 strap. No luck. I ordered this to assist with placing some 1” diameter by 6” deep holes that will be part of a bracket holding a “floating” mantle. My mantle cost several hundred dollars so I’m trying to be as precise as possible. NASA precise, no. But even with the base screwed down my test holes were several degrees off. This may be fine for some rough holes but I can’t recommend this if you’re looking for drilling something important. I gave it a two on value..what does it matter…it doesn’t work

Granted it's not a drill press, but it's close enough and can do some thing you can't with a drill press. I'm using it to put dog holes in my new bench. Looking forward to finding other tasks for it.

This is a functional product, but it’s not flexible enough to fit most commonly sold drills. I attempted to use 4 different drills, both cord and cordless, and struggled to get them mounted. I ended up changing the length of screws and adding rubber spacers just to somewhat lock in the drill. Recommend you research extensively what drill design works with this mount before purchasing.

I do not have a 43mm Collar drill!! But I still was able to use this press. I think it's very good for many applications. I took an old pill bottle and used it as a centering devise. With a 1/4 ing extending shaft I can use many drill bits.

D'abord j'utilise une perceuse Skil avec un collet de 43mm comme décrit sur l'emballage. Il est impossible de percer un trou perpendiculaire avec ce support, j'ai fais plusieurs perçages Ø 8 et dans tous les cas l'angle de perçage est environ 87° à 88° et pas 90°. Les 4 photos avec l'équerre représente 1/4 de tour (0°/90°/180°/270° et à chaque fois l'angle n'est pas perpendiculaire. Manque total de précision.

Muy útil para lograr hacer hoyos a 90 grados, los demás grados la verdad no lo he intentado, pero es de muy buen material y muy pesado, muy robusto para el tipo de trabajo que se puede usar.

I use this when I need my bigger power plug in drill for continuous heavy drilling which is inconvenient to do with the cordless. I have porches both options of these to suit both types of drills so I'm never left wanting.
