Yes, it can with stand any leakage of certain chemicals for boots, and clothing when performing a chemical job. It seals as well. For a met lab liquids, I would not recommend it.

Q: Is this tape appropriate for taping window on an airplane while using paint stripper. Is it removable by peeling it off plexiglass?

I wouldn't use this for that....I would just use regular painters tape. This stuff is for when you need strong tape to keep chemicals out. I would be concerned about how removable it would be in your situation. Best of luck to you.

Q: is it ok with sodium hydroxide

I'm not positive, but we use it with Hydrochloric Acid, Maleic Acid, and Sulfamic Acid, so I would think it should. We have used this particular tape for years wth no problem.
