Hi definition speaker for senior citizens
I purchased this speaker system for my 97 year old Aunt who is hard of hearing. It is supposed to emphasize the frequencies that would enable her to hear the TV better while not taking up too much space in her small apartment. Unlike traditional soundbars, this one is very small and compact. It has a good frequency response and can be cranked up fairly loud. It is a great product for this niche of senior citizens. It is not great insofar as bass is concerned but the higher frequencies are clear and distinct.

Terrific product
I have 3 of these and they are terrific, Optical from tv available via special combined optical out / aux in cable provided.. Best sound bar I have run across for under $500 and I have searched extensively. No bluetooth (my tvs do not really have bluetooth connection) and no aux out capability so I have combined these with ZVOX AV155 (via aux cables) for surround sound in large rooms. I am frankly baffled by sound distortion complainnt.

Best TV sound for those with hearing issues
Multiple levels of voice enhancement make for much more enjoyable viewing. Has a remote, but volume can also be controlled by other combination remotes (for example, the remotes used by DiSH satellite). Several methods to connect to the tv as well.

Very small soundbar that sounds good!
We had a Zvox sound base years back that we really liked. It had very good, clear sound all within a single enclosure. Alas the TV is now mounted on the wall so no more sound base. We tried a Zvox sound bar a while back, but just wasn't impressed with the sound (too hollow). I saw this one recently and decided to give it a go. It is extremely small. The sound bar portion is less than 2" high & deep, and is about 10" long. The subwoofer is also relatively compact and can be set out of the way. The sound quality is pretty good for something so small and I'm pleasantly surprised by the bass from the subwoofer. I'm a bit particular about my audio equipment so if it didn't sound good it would have been returned. That said I did take a star off for sound quality. The bass is very good, but I just get the sense Zvox could have further refined the equalization or sound processing for the mids and highs a bit more. Then again I look at how small this thing is and it definitely punches above it's weight so maybe that's fair and maybe it isn't. In the end I'm happy with this product. I can hear/understand the TV again and like the sound quality, all while not taking up much space.

Terrible, distorted sound
So let me start by saying I own two Zvox av100 mini soundbars, this Av110 is basically that bar with a wired subwoofer. Well, the sound quality is awful when compared side by side to the tiny av100 unit. I suspect it’s a crossover issue in the av110 system, as vocals and dialogue sounds hollow and resonant, not at all clear and rich like the av100. I believe it’s because the subwoofer is crossed too high, so the sub handles all the midrange and bass, leaving the Soundbar portion to handle only the highs. This makes dialogue sound distorted and unnatural regardless of setting or AccuVoice level. The sub is super small doesn’t reach deep enough into the bass spectrum to be useful, it simply muddies up the sound from the Soundbar. I recommend most zvox soundbars and sound bases, but this av110 is simply terrible. I bought two with high hopes, returned both. Purchased for under a $100 on prime days. Oh well back to the av100 minis instead, which sound shockingly great for as tiny as they are!

Not as expected
Purchased in spring, dead by august, was hoping for good sound quality, just wasn’t good at all, support is terrible, think twice before buying,I’m not sure if the unit is worth repairing, since it will be 30 dollars plus shipping, support said that I could return it,decided that it is not worth repairing
