I've tried many different laser hair removal devices. Tria has been the only other one that works this well. It has completely made my armpit hair go away for months at a time. I've always struggled with armpit hair, where I have to shave every other day - no more! I now just do touch ups. I've also used this along my bikini line, on my chin, and plan to use it on my ankles. It's not the best for small places (tough to get upper lip), but overall HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. It has some great setting (fast; sensitive/less painful areas). I will say that this brings some punch, and can be pretty painful, but it's worth it to me!

(Long review..sorry) So I have PCOS like many many others. The chin hairs...OMG those damn chin hairs! Shaving, plucking etc. About 15 yrs ago I had professional laser treatment and that lasted for about a yr before those buggers came back. Like all of us, I have been so self conscious of my shin stubble. The shaving and plucking cause irritated skin/redness etc. Miserable. So I decided to try this even though I cringed a bit at the cost. The pictures here are 8 wks apart (side view and under the chin) - week one was late that first evening even after I had shaved that morning. Week 8 photos are taken on a sun night and I haven't shaved since Saturday morning!! Yes, there is still dark stubble but no where near like before and it has been about 36 hrs since a shave vs maybe 10 hrs!! I have also used this on my underarms/bikini area and seen a difference there as well - I have not used on legs. Even if I don't see all the chin hair gone by the 12 week mark, I am still quite pleased with this. The whole process on the chin takes about 2 minutes and it does feel a bit warm but not HOT. The only warning I have is be super careful around any tattoos or dark spots. I accidently caught the mole under my chin (slight ouch) and the edge of a tat on my ankle when I thought I would do my legs - BIG ouch!! Tat blistered right up for about 2 weeks and that first 24 hrs felt like that area was being bit by dozens of ants. Also i didnt really notice any difference till around the 3-4 week mark. Anywho..yep, still shaving daily but no more of that heavier stubble by evening - i am excited to see what continued use shows. So.....if you have PCOS and those nasty chin hairs - try this and I hope it works well for you!!

This is a difficult product to review. The device does very well on the obvious criteria like design and ease of use. But prospective buyers will want to know if it actually works, and that's harder to answer. Bottom line - yes, but. I have used it mostly for my legs, and it does get rid of a lot of the hair, but there are several areas where it keeps coming back. The thing is, there's no way to tell how much of that is due to user error and how much is just the limitation of the technology itself. That's because it's very easy to miss spots as you go - there's no feedback to let you know where you have already treated (and that's mostly a good thing - the instructions say that some people get reddened skin or irritation, but I haven't had that at all). Also the head of the machine is a little bigger than the actual window that flashes, so you can't see to line it up exactly (not to mention legs are irregularly shaped). I have also used it on my mustache, with some success. Having used the device for 6 months (weekly for the first 12 weeks as recommended, and as-needed after that), I'm concluding that I will need to shave and re-treat about every 2 weeks - which is still way better than every other day, so I'm ahead.

I spent almost $400.00 on this product & only used it about 5 times, in less than 3 years, it has already failed. I contacted the company & sent them the information they requested. Was told that it only has a 2 year warranty & they could try to help me diagnose. I tried everything, to no avail, seriously! 😒

It does work with repeated use (like 2x per week) on areas with darker hair. I’d say my leg hair and bikini line are the best results, chin, neck, and underarms not so much. I’ve had mine for almost 2 years and it’s now on the fritz. The regular function no longer works, only the rapid function, and that is going now too. Considering reordering this one, but it’s a lot of money for something that is iffy technologically.

She likes it so much, she is passing along her review: I am so glad my boyfriend splurged and bought this device compared to other ones! I've been using it for about two weeks now, and I have already noticed changes in my hair growth. There isn't as much hair since it's somehow coming in slower, and if there is some, it's definitely thinner. As someone who has done professional laser hair removal treatment before, I love how convenient and easy this is to use. Getting it professionally done is just so hard to do nowadays because of the cost and time it takes to go to the salon each week. Finding a comparable and more cost-effective alternative has been so amazing. I can't wait to see how my skin looks when I've hit the 12 week mark! I will keep recommending this to friends and family, and really anyone who gets annoyed by pesky hair growth and wants to remove hair easily!

Brilliant device. I had an older model from this brand that stopped working years ago. I bought an Ipl device from a different company but it was rubbish and didn’t do anything. This one works as well as the original one I had, so pleased to have this back to use for maintenance top ups every 6 weeks!

I have always wanted to do IPL laser hair removal but the packages have always been way above my budget i.e roughly 1lakh.
