The quality is quite good and it does look really nice. I went by the reviews about how tough it was to assemble and ordered the expert assembly from amazon. I am glad i did that as all the reviews were correct. The assembly instructions are not very good and I am sure we would not have been able to do it ourselves without damaging the piece. Even the expert who came had a tough time assembling the piece. The instructions are really not too great. But once the piece was done we were happy with the end product. The only negative is the side shelves, the are too narrow and can only accommodate not too wide sauce bottles.

I got stuck at step#3 in the assembly (what I had at that point in assembly looked different from the pictures). That’s when I started reading the reviews here to figure out other people’s experience. I was worried that the product is defective (not worried if I can assemble it though). After a good look at the pieces, I figured that the large panels in my assembly have to be flipped. Once, this step was corrected, the assembly was a breeze. The final assembly looked great and looks as expected. Took about 6 hours (didn’t use powered tools/drivers) but can be done under 2 hours if you are good and use powered screwdriver.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Sturdy with a lot of room both on the shelves and in the drawers. I've put together many furniture pieces but have to admit I was intimidated by the assembly reviews so I paid the extra assembly option. The assembly person was on time, professional and had it together in about an hour and a half. I asked him if it was as difficult to put together as some stated and he did say that the instructions are hard to interpret in some areas but were not a problem for him because that's what he does. The piece is beautifully packaged but is obviously heavy. My UPS person didn't bring it up on my front porch so I had to open the box and take the pieces in one at a time. If you have someone to help you lift it I guess this isn't a problem. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

This product is a BEAST to put together. My friend and I had issues at every single turn. Firstly the instructions are photocopied and barely legible so you have to sometimes use your own intuition on how to put some of these pieces together. Secondly, they send random hardware that doesn't belong on any part of the piece. Thirdly, the instructions claim that you don't need a drill......OH YES YOU DO!!! Because they forgot to put holes on some the pieces so you sometimes have to make your own in order to attach some of the pieces together. Fourthly, the holes to attach to the hinges on the door were in the wrong place so we had to do some more improvisation to make the door swing open and shut. Fifthly, when I attempted to place the shelves inside the hinged door, there were only holes on one side of the wall and you need holes on BOTH sides so you can insert the divets so the shelves have some where to sit. So again we had to improvise and make our own holes for the divets so the shelves can slide in. And lastly (and I could go on) the sides DO NOT HOLD WINE GLASSES. I have wine glasses in many different sizes.......NOT ONE OF THE GLASSES FIT IN. So now this product is almost completely useless. Aesthetically, it looks not too bad.....BUT DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

So we love the assembled product. It was the perfect size, decent quality, and fit our needs perfectly. However, it took my husband almost 3 hours to put it together. The instructions were vauge and the parts are not labeled...there's a TON of parts and some are very similar with slight differences, so the parts not being labeled is a huge flaw. And it came missing ALL the dowels...my husband had something he was able to use instead but it was certainly annoying and very inconvenient. So the 4 stars is for the finished assembled product.... As far as the manufacturer, I'd give them 2.5 stars. I wouldn't say don't get it because we love the finished product...but as far as assembly, be prepared for a huge pain in the butt and to be missing pieces.

I put this in our bedroom and am very pleased. Very sturdy, great look. I took one start of assembly because the instructions leave a bit to be desired, but after a few times taking this apart, I got it all together.

Looks exactly like picture. The color is a little bit darker than the picture though. The assembly was a hassle but the I love the end result! looking so classy and beautiful!

I love this buffet so much I bought a second one! Easy to assemble just time consuming but worth it...only problem was the metal bars for the outside shelves could be a touch longer. I decided not to use them...it is very sturdy and really beautiful. Update...I received my second buffet piece...it arrived undamaged and on time...both of them look beautiful in my dining room....if you are considering this buffet...go for it!
