Fantastic bait caster for a beginner! The price is great for entry level and easy to use if you take the time to learn how. I’ve upgraded since buying this but I still take it on every fishing trip because it’s performed so well for me over the past 2 years and it’s a must have for every trip.

The product is a great fishing rod but unfortunately this Christmas present had to be returned and reordered. Where you join the rod together, was bent, flattened and cracked. Box was undamaged so either a prior return was shipped out again to a new customer or it wasn’t seen before getting boxed.

Great pole. Grand loved it.

Very good reel under rated for sure. I use this all the time and have never had it back lash it’s great my son even tried it and he loves it I am getting him one.

This is a great rod and reel combo for beginners. Like myself I've never used a bait casting reel before. After using it for some time does well its smooth cast and smooth retrieve. But after having it I don't see all the hype about baitcasters it a headache with the breakes and drag and mostly the backlash or birds nest. But over it not bad. I recommend it to any beginners who want a baitcaster but not breake the bank. It is cheap keep that in mind but if you don't know what your doing it's good to learn on. You can spend up to 150 for a good and still birds nest so keep that in mind.
