Purchased this to assign a keyboard press to be used for push-to-talk in games since I play using a controller and there aren't enough buttons to enable push-to-talk without taking my hand off the controller. All you do is download the software, plug in the foot pedal to your computer, and assign a keyboard press to it. This gets saved on the foot pedal and works without the software once set. I use this on hardwood floor and haven't had any issues with the foot pedal slipping. There is a mechanical click sound when pressed, but not something you would hear if you have headphones on. Would recommend for an easy to use/cheap workaround button especially if you play games using a controller.

Perfect for using with amateur radio software apps. I use as a PTT for FreeDV. Great to have a foot pedal PTT instead of using the keyboard space bar or mouse!

Honestly for the price you can’t beat it. I’ve had this for several years and I have had zero issues! Highly recommend this product! It was easy to setup and the software is easy to navigate. The pedal has a great feel to it. It’s durable as well. I’ve used it quite often over these last few years and it’s never had issues

Great option for game chat switching. I use it to switch between my party and the actual game chat when I want other people to hear me in the game. Can be assigned to any button on the keyboard. Very easy to set up. Easy to push as well as not expensive. Does tend to slide some so I attached it to the floor with Velcro.

Don't waste your money, bought two in Sept 2025, both are broken (button unpresses without letting go) by Jan 2026.
