Phenomenal product. Fantastic Price
I’m very happy with this purchase. I’d like to thank the people who took the time to assemble such a cool movie prop. This is an incredible (and time-consuming) accomplishment of creativity and detail. I would have happily paid more for this. Let’s break this down in detail: Waiting time: From placing the order to receiving the package, it took exactly two weeks to arrive in my mailbox in the eastern time zone of the U.S. This was roughly two weeks earlier than estimated at the time of my order. What’s included: Nearly three dozen loose inserts, including: plot-related newspaper clippings, government incident reports that cover each of the main artifacts in all four movies, telegrams, sheet music for Temple of Doom, old photos of father and son, ancient maps of Venice/Europe/Asia, and a handful other miscellaneous items related to the movies. The grail diary itself looks to be upwards of 200-300 pages, nearly all of which contain journal entries and drawings, seemingly consistent with what we saw in The Last Crusade movie. The handwriting in the diary is borderline legible (due to penmanship, not due to blur/printing), which I found to be more charming than frustrating. It would take quite some time to read everything that is included. It was also a nice touch to see the contents wrapped in brown paper, addressed to Dr. Jones (more on that below) and tied with string…just as we saw in the movie. Although most reviews seem to be overwhelmingly positive, this type of item is perfect fodder for numerous nit picks. Let’s address some potential nit picks: Some might take issue with the fact that the journal itself is not weathered/damaged enough to appear more authentic. OK, fair point. But with some creativity, you can have some fun achieving that desired effect. Expose it to moisture. Expose it to sunlight on the inside of a window for a few weeks. Spill some wine on it. Bend it. Sit on it. Expose the edges of the pages to some elements to get them to look yellowed/worn. I’d rather have the option to do those things myself, versus the seller sending me a book that is absolutely falling apart. Some may say that some of the printing is of mediocre quality, making it look mass-produced and/or inauthentic. Personally, I thought the printing and overall quality were completely satisfactory…especially for the price and the amount of stuff included. The package was addressed to “Indiana Jones”, as opposed to “Henry Jones Jr”. I agree 100% that this was an unforced error in terms of detail. Dad would never have addressed the package to “Indiana”. But easy for the seller to correct going forward. The one gripe I agree with is in regards to the insert that seems to be a checklist/inventory of what the seller has included in the package. Several items shown in that checklist/inventory are not included. Some notable examples that would seem to be really cool to have: the grail tablet rubbing, passport/ID stuff, articles relating to Shiva/Sankara, holy land map, fertility idol map, Lao Che’s Obi Wan club ad, etc. These are not included. The lesson here is simple: If you don’t know what you might be missing, you won’t be disappointed. So I’d suggest that the seller either include all the stuff that appears in the inventory insert, or remove the inventory insert altogether. While I gave 5 stars overall, this gripe led me to give 4 stars for accuracy. I would normally include some pictures, but the ones posted by other reviewers are consistent with what I received. Bottom line: This is an awesome product. I bought a replica grail cup to go along with it. I would happily buy this for an Indiana Jones enthusiast as a gift, and not be concerned one iota about some of the imperfections.

It's not perfect, but it's definitely worth the price
The pages and inserts are obvious copies. At close inspection, they are a bit blurry, especially the pictures. But for the price, this is an awesome set. There are way more inserts than I expected, covering multiple movies. I put the grail-related inserts into the diary, and it looks awesome. Lots to read here, a very good replica.

Great!
This little book is the keepsake I was looking for. It's pretty neat. It smacks of the original and it's fun to explore. Even my roommate was intrigued with it. Everyone thought it was a fun thing to look at. There seem to be a few things missing, like the rubs from the shield panels. I'd like to have those if the seller is reading these, but it has so many other things that I still think it's neat. Whoever designed it has a good eye for detail. A few are saying that they can't read it. I can read it fine, for the most part. The text is a little blurry, but I think maybe people can't read it who didn't grow up using cursive. I did so I can read it fine. I think most people who buy it will like it. I might try weathering my just a bit for fun, but no regrets.

A FUN GIFT ITEM FOR THE INDIANA JONES FAN
This is a nice little item that would make a good gift for that Indy fan in your life! Yes, most of the included ephemera (paper) items are only printed on one side, and yes, "Herr" is mis-spelled as "Heir" on the German newspaper item, but who cares? Overall, it's just meant as an affordable, fun set of items taken from the Indiana Jones series of movies. Besides that, the writing and drawings inside the "diary" book are fun to read and look at. IF you want an exact copy of the diary and its attachments from the movie... I guess you'll have to look elsewhere. But, if you're looking for more affordable movie memorabilia fun, this set does the trick.

I'm in love.
I am in love with this grail diary. It's like a walk down memory lane. (I can't count how many times I have watched that movie!)

Excellent Grail Diary…almost
(Update at the bottom) For the money, you can't beat this diary. It comes wrapped in brown paper and twine with address (to Indiana Jones, and I've heard some people say it should be to Henry Jones, Jr. but I like it anyway :) ) and stamps. The cover is a soft "pleather" and the pages are nicely thick parchment-like paper. I found all of the writing to be legible (not blurry at all), although the "ink lines" from the "pen" are thick, so reading it can be a bit challenging in places. In my opinion, however, this is no different from any "old" manuscript, and perhaps even adds to the charm. All of the drawings also appear very clear to me. I don't know much about binding, but it seems solid, and there are some pages where you can see the string stitching that the journal is bound with (which is kind of cool). I don't know enough about the story/hero versions of the diary to know whether the pages are in one of those orders or not. As for the inserts, mine came with 23 relevant inserts, and 7 inserts from other Indiana Jones movies, or sheet music. Of the 23, 2 are very large maps, several are telegraphs (correct but not filled out as they should be), and there are some newspaper "clippings" among others. 10 of the inserts are smaller items like a silver dollar certificate, a stamp, a rail ticket, several photographs, etc. All of the inserts are printed on the same thin paper, and only a few were double sided. The grail tablet rubbing was not included. I ended up going on another site and downloading a .pdf of the diary for $15, and will print out some of my own inserts. Overall and for the price, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I'm going to read up on how to age the pages and cover a bit and I think it's going to look amazing. With reviews on other grail diaries that I've found talking about blurry writing and pictures, I'm so happy I found this one! Update: now that I’ve had a chance to really look at it, there is one very glaring error: the page numbers are out of order. And not just the entries are out of order (I wouldn’t have really minded that) but instead there are pages that have to be read in reverse order and quite scrambled (so for example the 3rd grail trial is written about on the page before the 1st and 2nd challenges.) Even two page drawings are printed out of order, and the first page of the whole book starts in the middle of a sentence. Put the pages in order and it would be great for the money!

Absolutely the real deal!
I am not a bot or a shill paid to make fake reviews. It took me almost two years to buy the Indiana Jones Grail Diary because of other items that the Chinese were making cheap ,cheap copies of. When it arrived it was as if I were opening a package in the 30's. The wrapper with stamps and twine. Inside is a book that does need a little weathering to get a gritty feel. Maybe some tweed pocket lint would help. The inserts are more than Indy has in his copy but they are wide ranging and cover several of the Indiana Jones films. The handwritten text is photo copied so almost unreadable. I love it anyway .Great item.
