The Smoother Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Wash, Soft & Smoothing Cleanser, 16.9 oz

Oil-based body care products are kind of my thing right now and it was this product that introduced me to the Naturium line. I can't believe everything I've been missing out on. This body wash is hydrating and easily rinseable - and you can accomplish several goals at once if you use it with an exfoliating sponge or loofah (I use the Kitsch African Net). Exfoliation, cleansing, and first-layer moisturizing all in one fell swoop! It's immediately softening, and I appreciate that it's also gentle enough to use on my face. (If you mix together a pea size of a Palmer Coconut facial scrub, or other scrub, and a little of the Glow Getter, or other facial cleanser, you can get the cleansing/exfoliation combination for your face, too.) I see reviews mentioning they don't like the scent, or they love the scent, but I really don't smell any scent at all, so it's not something I even take it into consideration post-shower when I'm adding other body oils and/or my perfume (it's so complicated to be a girl!). The large bottles look great next to each other in my shower; I like their uniformity. My only caution would be to take care when using the pump. This cleanser is a thinner consistency, and it shoots out really far from the bottle, something I haven't noticed in the other, thicker Naturium body washes. But once you know it's going to do that, it's easy enough to be a little more gentle with the dispensing. It may leave a residual amount of oil on your shower floor, so if you've never used an oil-based body wash before be aware of that as well. I always rinse the floor of my shower when I'm done because of conditioner anyway and I haven't had any problems with slipping or, worse, someone else getting in after me and slipping. If it's a concern and you don't have a hand-held shower head, you can also use a towel. Nice product at a reasonable-ish price for the size. Highly recommend, with the above caveats.

I absolutely love this body wash! It’s an oil to gel wash, and lathers up really well. I use a silicone body scrubber a little can go a long way! From neck to toe, this feels amazing. My skin after the shower felt hydrated and very soft. It doesn’t have a scent, only a subtle one. Afterwards I used Naturium’s body lotion and I feel so soft! Highly recommend!!

TLDR: Glow getter has amazing clean gentle yet effective ingredients in a massive bottle to last you forever! Super hydrating and great if you’re looking for a WONDERFUL hydrating wash for your face that doesn’t dry you out or strip your skin. As a girl with dehydrated oily skin I cannot suggest a better product. I do really love this body wash but for the price, I can't justify using it all the time as it doesn't last long for me. I have been on and off switching back to this as a body wash over the past year and just recently decided to stop using as a body wash altogether and switch back to Dove for economical reasons. I have dehydrated oily skin and I always prioritize hydration; I used to use Cerave hydrating foaming oil cleanser as my face wash and it's not bad but I wanted better (best non drying face wash I tried but still not the greatest). I've been researching hydrating, gentle, effective face washes for my skin type, and given how this body wash made my body feel and the pH of it (4.25-4.75, great range for face products), I decided to give this a try on my face. GIRL WHEN I TELL YOU MY SKIN HAS NEVER FELT BETTER!!!!! I use a single pump and lather real good into my hands and wash my face with warm water for a minute and rinse with cold water. The ingredients are so gentle and nice and leaves my skin feeling soft, supple, and hydrated, which is a great base for my other hydrating moisturizers! I normally would never advocate for using a body wash on your face as not all washes are created equal (shampoo =/= dish soap =/= hand soap =/= body wash =/= laundry detergent etc), but Naturium is what I'd refer to as a "skincare body brand". A lot of their body products are created with a skincare approach and not just a "get clean" approach by using better ingredients and ones that are meant to tackle skin problems, so for that reason I felt confident putting this on my face. Something else I ADORE about this product is the ingredients! For glow getter, the first ingredient is glycerin which helps to draw moisture into the skin which is wonderful in itself. Followed by water, there’s two other surfactants (cleaning agents that remove dirt and oils) next that are great for all skin types. The first is coco betaine which is more of a general surfactant and the other (which I’m most happy about) is disodium cocoamphodiacetate which is very mild but SUPER effective. It’s a non-irritating ingredient used a lot in sensitive skin products and best of all baby products! I AM NOT SAYING THIS PRODUCT IS SAFE FOR BABIES. DO NOT TAKE THIS AS ME ADVOCATING ON PUTTING THIS ON A BABY, I AM NOT A DOCTOR OR DERMATOLOGIST. DO NOT PUT THIS ON A BABY!!!!! I’m just very happy to see something so gentle on the list. The majority of the other ingredients are just plant extracts or other emulsifiers/preservatives needed to let it last on shelves ofc and the entire formula is so simple and gentle making me love it even more. If you're looking for a hydrating face wash and have troubles finding a good one, I HIGHLY recommend the glow getter body wash. I cannot speak on the other body washes as I’ve only ever used glow getter. As someone with dehydrated oily skin that "hydrating" products never seem to work on, I 1000000% recommend this no matter what skin type you have. Helps great with acne and oil production, and good hydration starts with a good foundation, which is this! I use this only at night since I use cleaning wipes in the AM for my face cleaning but I'm sure it would be no issues if used twice daily. I use one pump a day and it will most definitely last forever lol. A great option if you want an economical, skin-safe, hydrating, moisturizing face wash!!!!

Love how smooth and creamy this soap is and it’s very gentle on my dry, sensitive skin! Somehow despite its thicker consistency it still gets sudsy which is impressive and is so nice for feeling like it’s actually cleaning as well ad moisturizing! I’m not totally loving the scent - it’s not bad. It’s just not good either…? I know it’s supposed to be unscented but everything still has a bit of a smell even when unscented and this one just isn’t my favorite.

Love this body wash! A perfect, luxurious cleansing. Typically buying a different body wash every refill, this I am buying over and over. The scent is minimal soft citrus, you could even layer a floral scent, its a fresh first layer. With a larger top, the pump is easy to use in the shower. First it feels as smoothing silkon your skin, instantly you can feel it hydrating. While feeling the softness of the body wash, it will start to sud turning into fine luxury bubbles. Makes it so you are 100% clean after taking a shower, fresh. Every time feels like the first time.

I have severe strawberry skin on my legs and elbows and after using this for a week, it's gone! After using this since July' 25, I've never been smoother! There's no scent, so you can pair it with other body washes if you want to. It's very moisturizing, but I would pair this with Natrium's lotion. The pump is very easy to use in the shower, too. I have eczema under my armpits, but this has soothed the itchiness and darkness a lot. It also does great for body odor!

My skin was smoother and brighter within 24 hours. Very moisturizing and subtle scent. This is my new body wash.

I love this stuff, I’m on my second bottle!! The bottles are huge and you only need one or two pumps, lather that up and it’s more than enough for your whole body! It gives a cooling sensation almost, and it makes me feel soooo clean without my skin feeling stripped and leaves it very soft. I’ve even recommended this to some friends and gotten them try it and they love it! Even my boyfriend loves it lol. I deal with a lot of skin issues too like hives/rashes, and I use this during a break out and using this, and a cold shower, helps a ton and it’s hard for me to find products that don’t make the issue worse. One of the reasons I bought this because I thought maybe it would help with the KP on my skin (I’m not even positive that’s what that is) and while I’ve noticed a difference, it’s only temporarily and probably just because it’s hydrating. Only mentioning this in case that is why someone else is looking at this product! So while it’s not really fixed my “strawberry skin”, this is my holy grail body wash and I will continue buying it as long as the formula stays the same!!
