I bought these to make some of my patches into pins for a bag of mine. They work perfectly quickest! They stay secured.

Have used this product to repair some uniform ribbon backings. The key here is to use a good glue and to let it set well. So far I have had great success with this product.

These are perfect and the price is right! I ordered my pins from China but totally missed the proof on the pin backs and tie tacks whatever they call it. Emailed the supplier, she recommended magnets or ship them back (on my expense bc it was my fault). I looked here and thought I’d give it a try before sending them back. I used a tiny JB Weld glue bottle and they’re totally holding up! No discoloration on the metal with the glue as well. Hope this helps someone who is trying to fix their mistakes or create their own pins.
