Magnificent Dragon Ginger Jar in Large Size
This magnificent ginger jar is decorated with five-toed dragons, an image reserved for the Chinese Emperor in the Ming Dynasty and others. I bought a second vase after receiving the first, because I saw that there were dragons which faced right and left in the ornamentation. So now, I have them displayed in "mirror" images, one on the right and the other on the left of a large console table which has my reproduction of the Flying Horse of Kansu on it. You will be very happy with this vase. It is large, so you need to have the right space in which to display it properly.

Wonderful piece
Vase arrived a day before scheduled. It's a great, heavy piece that fits perfectly on the 9.5" diameter stand I purchased from the same seller. White color is nearly grey, but understanding how porcelain is fired and how variations in colors result, I don't mind a bit. Blue is a nice, vibrant cobalt. Picture included with this review is with a new piece of copy paper taped to the vase for comparison. Overall, I'm very happy with the seller and the merchandise!

Beautiful but NOT the design pictured
I struggled with the review. The vase is gorgeous and very large. This will be used as an urn for a family member. Excellent quality..... BUT I specifically chose this one over others because of the dragon in the design. The one we received does NOT have a dragon. The vase is the same on both sides - one side shown in picture. We don’t have time to return it and wait for another one. The colors are beautiful and it’s a nice pattern... but if you want a dragon on it that’s not what I received and I saw another review saying the same.
