Will buy a 4/4 next, just for kicks, because this bow rips!
Excellent 3/4 violin replacement bow. Real wood, real horsehair. Took the rosin well. You won't get any complaints. A++

Incredible quality for the price!
Blown away by the quality of this bow for the price! Well made, beautiful quality, smooth action, mellow sound. Better than the bow I bought twenty years ago for twice the price. I'm an intermediate player just getting back into playing, and am very, very pleased with bow. Rosin thoroughly before playing, of course!

MUST USE ROSIN BEFORE USE! OVERALL GREAT BEGINNER BOW
Its a decent bow for the price, so cant complain too much. It was very very lose when arrived, and of course had NO rosin on it so i couldn't use it. Make sure you put a LOT of rosin on, id recommend rosining it for the first time for like 3 minutes and then each time you use it. Very lose strings, a few broke while tightening it unfortunately. Great quality otherwise. One thing that did bother me was packaging was AWFUL! Taking star off for that. packaged in plastic and then inside a box with paper nothing else. It could've snapped the bow hairs while in transport but luckily it didnt. Id still overall recommend this bow for a beginner. Also, its very bouncy and takes time to get used to the "bounciness" gotta really get the hang of how to control the bow and the feel of it. Overall good item!

Great quality
Excellent quality. I love this almost as much as my carbon fiber bow

Needs improvement and lacks attention to details
the camber was not correct improper hair length causing issue when tightening choice of wood seems poor straightness imbalances weak

Bow doesn't align properly
Hair is coming out on arrival. Clear plastic bag bow is in was ripped up through the middle, like an impatient child tore it open. Even after applying a lot of rosen, there is a dead spot on the bow that just doesn't grip my strings. The alignment of hair to the shaft isn't right. You can tighten it, but the hair is never the right shape and distance from the bow like my other bows. This one is just off and doesn't work.

Great Bow for Any violin
Purchased this in a clutch situation to replace a broken bow from a violin set for my son. The sound quality is amazing. The weight and color go well with his violin and he has said nothing but how nice it is to use. Definitely with the purchase.

Good violin bow
Needed a new bow. Would highly recommend this one as it is holding up well.

I would highly recommend this beginner bow. I like that the bow arrived with the hair loosened. I’ve ordered several bows for my strings classes and have been quite surprised at how many bows arrive tightened. This one looks and works great. I’ve ordered at least seven other bows on Amazon and this is the best one so far. Hopefully quality is controlled from bow to bow.

A good value fiddle bow. Bought as a spare, to replace one no longer usable. Having now used it regularly, I'm pleased with how it handles. Ratchet is a little tight but has become less so with use. Probably not of real professional or orchestral quality, compared with what can be spent, but certainly fine for the kind of down-home fiddlin' it's being used for by me.

This is a nice bow for a beginner at a very reasonable price, but it needs a lot of rosin applied before it is used. More expensive bows come "pre-rosined". With this one, you need to get some powdered rosin worked into the horsehair before using it.
