is the caf'e by Juan Valdez?

I believe so. It tastes exactly like what comes in the jar (which I just keep refilling) -- I think the bag was equivalent to 6 jars. I need to reorder soon!

What is the shelf life of this product? I'm looking for long term storage to add to my emerfency stash of food.

The product is evaporation dried coffee (dry crystalized coffee extract from roasted coffee beans), sealed in a mylar bag. If kept dry and not at an elevated temperature to burst the bag the product has an indefinite life. Once open the product may tend to absorb moisture from humid air. We store ours in the original mylar bag with a spring clip closure in our frost free refrigerator. We have stored the product and used it up without any spoilage over a 5 month period. Great coffee, boiling water required.
