Caudalie Sunscreen SPF50+ Vinosun Protect Very High Protection Lightweight Cream - 40 mL

Lovely sun cream! I came across this as a recommendation on the Yuka app!, whilst searching sunscreens. It scores 100/100 excellent rating. I’m trying to be more aware of the ingredients in toiletry and make up products that I use and so despite the price being a lot more than I would usually spend, I thought I would try it. I am delighted with this cream! I purchased it at the end of May. It is now mid July and I use it on my face and neck most days and I haven’t run out yet!, so don’t let the size of it put you off! I have very sensitive skin and have used face products in the past by Nivea and Simple, which you assume would be gentle and yet, they have both irritated my skin! This cream is simply beautiful in my opinion. It is smooth and gentle. Does not irritate and you cannot feel it on your skin. It is like silk. Not greasy at all! I’ve seen a review where it is stating it’s like oil. My only assumption is perhaps this would be down to room temperature?, as I have noticed in recent days with the extremely hot weather, the cream has become very runny! And so, I make sure I store it lid upwards, so it doesn’t pour out when I undo the lid. This has in no way affected the substance as I apply it to my face. Will I purchase another?? Probably, yes. I don’t like spending £20 on a sunscreen but I cannot find anything close to it, which does its job, is so gentle and which isn’t full of toxic chemicals. It’s worth giving it a try, if like me, you have skin which is very fussy!

Very light and perfect for hot weather. As it's liquid, I was worried it would not be absorbed that well. I was imagining my hair getting all greasy and sticking to my face. Instead, it dries up quickly and leaves the skin nice and moisturised but not greasy at all. I also have very sensitive skin and usually struggle to find a sun cream that doesn't give me any issues. This one is a great find, worth the higher price tag. Love it!

Effective sunscreen, easy to apply

I am happy with Caudalie Vinosun Protect Sunscreen. I use it every day and it did not cause any skin irritation. I have using it for a few weeks and and I am happy with my purchase. The cream has an agreeable texture but the smell is not to my liking.

I like it, very thin, rubs in instantly. Doesn't leave any kind of white cast. Maybe a little on the shiny side but if I just blot the top of my face lightly with tissue that tends to get rid of it if it's bothering me It gets a really good score on the Yuka app for lower amount of toxic ingredients as well which is why I bought it I reapply every two hours, as we should for proper protection, such a bore, but I use tretinoin at night so even more important. This size is a great size to fit in my bag. I've just ordered the 150ml Caudalie Vinosun spray body SPF. As that also scored well in Yuka, so let's see how that is.

This is not a cheap product, but the quality unfortunately is hugely disappointing. I really wanted to like this, but the cream that comes out of it is not a cream, just strange texture oil. After squeezing a large proportion of it, some cream came out of it. A waste of money, very disappointing.

Possibly not suitable for active children. Need to reapply regularly. Expensive.
