I recently picked up the Unionbay Rainier Chino Pants, and I’ve been really impressed with the quality for the price. The material is lightweight yet durable — perfect for casual days, travel, or even light hiking. They have just enough stretch to move comfortably without feeling tight or baggy. The fit is spot on — slim but not skinny, with a modern cut that still feels relaxed. The waistband sits just right, and they look clean enough to dress up with a button-down, but casual enough to wear with a T-shirt or hoodie. I purchased these for a trip to Italy. Amazing pants! Amazing pants! They are soft comfortable and stretch. They are not too slim and not too baggy. The zippered pockets are wonderful for deterring pickpockets. They are just the right weight 3 season pants. You can wear them hiking, but you can also wear them out for a nice casual dinner. If you get caught in the rain, they dry very quickly and are very comfortable when wet. I washed a pair in my hotel room and they were dry the next day. Amazing pants!

The fabric runs thin, which keeps them cool but may limit durability if you’re kneeling or working on rough surfaces. Fit is generally good, but they can feel looser in the seat and leg than expected, which may not suit everyone. Also, while they look fine for casual settings or golf, they don’t quite pass for true dress pants. Bottom line: A versatile, lightweight, and comfortable option for travel, summer wear, or casual work, but don’t expect heavy-duty durability or a sharply tailored look. These are great travel pants! I purchased a pair several years ago and when I got 1 inch bigger around the middle a couple of years later, my wife sewed another button on the waistband so I could continue to wear them. That's how much I like them (my wife likes them, too!). Unfortunately I got another inch bigger, so I had to buy a larger pair. The fit is great and they're stretchy, so they are super comfortable. I also really like the very slightly "brushed" finish on the material itself. A great look! One more thing - they are lightweight which helps when you are trying to pack light.

Great pants, comfortable and looks professional. I use them for travel primarily and think they work great for casual wear.

Exactly what I was looking for! Appears to be well made and flexible. Spot on for travel with just enough room to be comfortable on a long flight. Unfortunately, colors are limited.

My initial assessment is that these are very nice ... with one complaint below. Well made, I like the fabric. Lightweight and not bulky compared to packing blue jeans. I got these for trave and I look forward to using them. I'm happy. My complaint is that the leg pocket is not deep enough for larger phones. The fronts are deep enough, albeit not zippered like the rears and leg pockets. FWIW, I saw one online review of these commenting that the leg length was a bit long. I do not find that the case with my pair. Mine are advertised as 32" length, and they measure 30 3/4" down the leg seam. That explains why, when trying them on, I thought they could use a bit more length. Note that I like a little break on the shoe rather than too short.
