Great Purchase
I'm a huge fan of the Conjuring movies and of Valek the Nun from those movies and also the Nun movie itself. I bought this costume last year for halloween and only wore it once. I went to Amazon and found this Mannequin to use to display this costume in my den. The Mannequin arrived undamaged and was a breeze to assemble, my 9 year old assembled it. It very sturdy and is very lightweight, had this thing out of the box and together in 5 minutes. Very happy with the purchase it will suit what I wanted it for just fine.

Works well
Needed a mannequin for a costume display. This worked well. For an inexpensive mannequin, we were happy with the form. Helping a young author with a display and the mannequin held up in wind and medium rain. We did use some string across the top of the boot with stakes to hold him steady in the wind (see photo). We had brought the bricks to use at first, but couldn't get the weight in the right location. The string and 6" stakes worked well. Those wings only weigh about 4 pounds. I read about people using various mixes to fill the hollow legs, but it would have required us to cut a hole and we didn't want to do that. Plus it would increase the weight of the mannequin and it needs to be hauled around. Author was going to try making some flower pots filled with concrete to use at indoor events to weight him correctly. I haven't heard if that worked, but it should.

Better than expected
For the price of this mannequin, it’s better than I expected. Assembles easily, stands upright correctly. I’m using it occasionally for things related to Halloween. If you’re going to be manipulating it a lot for any reason, this one might not be sturdy enough for you. But if you’re using it intermittently or will put something on it and let it stay that way, it should work well. I keep her disassembled in a large laundry bag when not in use. Not exactly compact, but it is a small human-sized mannequin, so not surprising. To make a floating Halloween ghost I: - used this mannequin (minus the arms, for creepy factor) - wrapped completely in plastic wrap B00HVY48RE Zipsafe Sealwrap, 12" x 2000' - covered the plastic wrap in clear packing tape. Where needed for additional structure / strength, I taped the inside as well - removed the ghost from the mannequin by cutting straight up one entire side - peeled it off like a shell - with easier access to the head now that there was a cut up a side, as she’d be hanging outside, I taped the inside of her head up well for strength and added strong fishing line sticking out the top of her head - then I taped up the cut side of her body and - tied the line around a tall branch in our big tree out front. She hung out there for weeks, no problems with wind or rain. Has my review been of help to you? If so, would you consider hitting the "helpful" button below? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

The Pros and Cons Even Out
The Price Is Great. The Mannequin Looks Great. Dressing her is sometimes very easy. A Lot of People have given some great reviews about the experience of this mannequin; ESPECIALLY: 1. There are rough bump/dots throughout the body that DO snag your clothes. I have had to put little bits of tape over them, they WILL ruin your clothes. it seems like maybe they are there to adhere to a piece of fabric for someone that is trying to make a garment. It is probably GREAT for dressmakers, tailors, designers. 2. You do have to pop the arm(s) off and on to put many of the garments on--this can get exhausting, you have to fidget fidget fidget. and since the mannequin is so light-weight, it makes putting the arms back on that much more difficult, because there is no counter-weight. 3. The mannequin is sturdy....but not for long. I think maybe the screw underneath the platform needs to be tightened, which would be a quick fix. one would just need to go to the hardware store to find a hex key large enough. i dont have the model in front of me at the moment (sorry, bad timing. i'll update this if i can) 4. Portability. I am short and small and relatively weak, so the light weight of the mannequin is a blessing. i can easily carry the mannequin and set it anywhere. So. I use this mannequin to display clothing for my online boutique. it works well for that. the slighter higher priced, more upscale, plaster-cast mannequin i have works much better, and shows the clothes off better too. I assume that this mannequin is great for making clothing. Its like the three little bears, not too hot, not too cold, just right. ⭐️ Its definitely a worthwhile purchase, whatever you use it for.

A very nice inexpensive mannequin
I purchased this as a prop and really am happy with it. It puts together as fast as you can unwrap the pieces with no tools needed. The things I am not really happy about Is it slightly leans no biggie I put card board under foot which you don't notice and the type of head it has. The head itself is small but when attactched it looks normal size..it turns which is cool..but also falls off easy since it only sets on about a inch. Overall for a prop as it is intended it is certainly worth the 70 bucks I paid And if I need more I will order another one just like it. Downside is arms only adjust good up and down not side to side and legs stay the same. You can slightly turn body at waist so it is best suited for straight on standing. If you want more movement you will pay alot more money to get bendable joints...again you get what you want to pay for this is awesome for the cost of it.

Good for what it is, good price, but a few negatives
On the plus side: The product arrived undamaged with no broken or defective parts. It was fairly easy to assemble, easier than some competing models -- the step-by-step photos on the supplied instruction sheet helped. Though this is obviously an inexpensive product, it feels reasonably solid and the overall quality is perhaps a bit better than other mannequins in this price range. There are others with slightly more realistic facial features, and to me this mannequin looks like he’s almost frowning or at least not having a good time. But I knew that going in. The negatives: The claimed height is 72.8 inches. I measured the height at just slightly over 74 inches from the bottom of the foot to the top of the head. That made it unsuitable for my purposes. Other reviewers have noted that this is a tall mannequin. The metal base might be preferable to the glass bases supplied with other mannequins, but it had at least one rather sharp edge. I suspect you could cut yourself during assembly if you aren’t careful. It was difficult to tell the exact skin color from the picture on Amazon, but I was assuming I was getting a mannequin with an average Caucasian skin tone. This mannequin is darker than I expected and quite a bit darker than other male and female mannequins on Amazon. I was planning to use this in my photography studio, and skin tone matters to my light meter. In sum: It’s well-priced for what it is. I could recommend this if the height and skin tone aren’t negatives for you.

Mannequin worked
This was the 2nd one I ordered. I first one the body did not connect and I sent it back and re-ordered another one. This one fit perfect. The body is a size Small in clothes. The skirt and body suit are size small. The feet are size 7 ladies slippers. I bought a wig also wig pins to hold it down. I added lashes, and bought press on nails. Since it was for my birthday she is wearing a birthday sash and a crown that I also bought here on Amazon. My husband bought me two diamond bracelets and she is wearing them to include the cake necklace that I also got as a gift. It was so easy to put together and she stand strong. I have moved her arms up and down and she remain in position. No problems. I put her together before dressing her. I put on a little lipstick for added shine using a q-tip and for color. I also used two bobby pins to keep her hair out of her face. I was going to put a little blush but decided against it. I am very happy with this product.
