I bought it because if I want sharp sourness in foods such as hummus, or tartness in pies, salad dressings, I can use a dry product vs a liquid lemon/lime juice. Hummus becomes too runny with liquids so this works well. Then I find out that it is very good for you for liver, kidneys, lowers blood pressure, detoxes, etc. Don't try to taste it straight, very sour! Mix with water as a drink or add to sweetened fruit juices for tartness. Look up the health benefits. Its an excellent product. Keep it sealed off with some dry silica gel packs inside the jar to keep it dry. Get these from vitamin packs.

Delicious and super sour! We got this for some treats I make, and this made them incredibly sour. Its a great consistency, not fine powder, but not large granules. Works for exactly what I need it for. I will definitely purchase again.
