Easy to install! We had an obnoxious hammer. It seriously sounded like a hammer when the water stopped! It took about 5 minutes to get both arrestors on. I attached them to the washer instead of at the valve. It doesn't matter if it is at the valve or at the washer. I started a load of clothes and it was amazing!!!! No more hammer! I just installed today so I hope they last but the initial results are just amazing!

Very easy installation process (attached directly to the hot and cold inlets on my LG washer. This took care of the water hammer caused by the rapid opening of the solenoid valves that engage when the washer fills at the beginning of the cycle. The machine runs silently after the installation. Here is my only gripe - the packaging label is very ambiguous. In two places it says lead free and in a third it indicates a low lead content. Since I am not using this on a potable water line I was not too concerned about the ambiguity. It would be really great if the vendor would weigh in on this and indicate if this product is truly lead free - for peace of mind in potable water applications.

They have the wrong thread for Australian use, don't buy these.

Not for UK (EU?) washing machines. The washing machine hose fits correctly but when other end is screwed to the water tap or the washing machine it's still slack. Turn tap on, serious water leak. Reason; this is for hose connection ONLY, therefore washing machine hose fits fine but washing machine is not a hose connection, therefore leaks. Simple! This should be made clear in the listing description
