This is a nice looking box for loading and cleaning my porta filter. When it has five or six lumps of coffee, I pull out the metal dump bin and dump it. Then, with a quick rinse, its ready to go again!

I recently purchased the CrossCreek Coffee Knock Box, and it has truly elevated my coffee brewing experience. As a passionate home barista, I was looking for a sturdy and efficient solution for disposing of coffee grounds, and this knock box exceeded my expectations.

Great functionality but, after two-years, the wooden bottom has begun to crack.

Looks great and well built

My current knock box is kept under the counter, behind a shelf, hidden from view at all times. It's a black cylinder-shaped box that is not appealing to look at in any world. It is only utilitarian and that is all that unit is designed to be. Then I get this walnut knock box. I am currently using only the included portafilter and tamp included with my Breville Barista Express. The tamp is stored in the magnet holder of the machine and looks good mounted there, while we keep the portafilter in a drawer after use. That doesn't mean I won't get other accessories when I find the 'right' ones', that will fit into this wonderful knock box. The space for the portafilter is perfect for holding it while I apply pressure with the tamp, and the knock box section itself is a great design. The bar to knock on doubles as a handle to lift out for cleaning. It's padded so it won't damage the portafilter, and it mutes some of the sound better than my cheap little utilitarian box. The knock box section lifts out for dumping and cleaning. The wood portion of the box itself is well-built and attractive. This doesn't feel like a particle board with a walnut veneer but actual walnut construction. Enough weight to stay stationary during use, but light enough to move when needed. This is an attractive knock box that can fit alongside just about any espresso maker.

Nice build quality and really wanted to keep it but it doesn’t fit the Rancilio Silvia bottomless or stock portafilter.
