Halo Headband Sweatband Sport Hat

First - there is nothing feminine with this hat. Great for men, too! It is perfect for outdoor activities. This is a very lightweight hat with a strong rubber piece (does not hurt) that sticks to your forehead that redirects sweat away from your eyes. My hat is absolutely soaked after running 7 to 10 miles, but I never have to wipe my eyes due to this hat. I will always run in halo hats - they are the best.

These are an absolute must for me. They look good and can be washed on delicate. My head sweats heavily whenever I'm outside in the garden, riding the bike or doing anything the least bit strenuous. How I hate sweat dripping in my eyes! These caps are perfect. It directs the sweat back and you never have it running in your eyes or at your temples. For years I tried one thing after the other.. Not a one of the products out there helped. I actually had to use a chamois I cut up and sewed into a headband. It was oh so attractive sticking out from beneath my cap. Halo makes caps, headbands, visors, etc. I have them all ad use them all! I can play golf again. I can walk the dog on a hot day without sweat running down my face. Just think about all the times you have sweated in public and didn't have a roll of paper towels handy. It's awful to to deal with the excessive sweating because it's uncomfortable and you are so limited in what you can do in public. I can guarantee that after you receive your cap (or whatever you ordered) you will be back online ordering more styles/colors.

I was looking for a cap for under my vented bicycle helmet that would allow sweat to be wicked away yet protect my head from the sun. I also wanted a full size brim since I already have small brimmed and no brim cycle caps. This fit the bill perfectly. The two key things are 1) there's a separate sweat ban that's only attached to the corners of the brim to stop sweat from running into your eyes. You can move it up and down to your liking. It takes a bit of getting use to but it works well. 2) the caps adjustment in the back is a typical ball cap velcro style. It's not elastic inside fabric. It doesn't interfere with adjusting my Sena helmet to my head.

This hat has a strange feature meant to keep sweat from dripping from your hair into your eyes. The headband actually is not attached to the hat roughly from one side of the forehead to the other, meaning the hat floats and the strap stays tight against your head. The strap also has a plastic strip, like a squeegee strip on it. Kind of neat idea, not so great execution. I have to keep the velcro a little loose or else I'll end up with an imprint of the plastic strip across my forehead. But if you keep it loose, sweat might drip down. Yeah...not so good. But I still use it, it is very lightweight, just not exactly what I thought. Haven't thrown it in the washer yet, so not sure how it will hold up.

I use this hat for running and plan to wear it over the summer in races. It works really well, just like my halo headband it keeps all the sweat out of my eyes which other than sun protection is the main reason I bought it. As others have pointed out, it can be a bit tricky to put on with the headband not being completely sewn into the hat. I use a mirror to make sure it's straight across my forehead, once it's in place it doesn't move. You do get used to putting it on and I can see why they did it that way. It gives you the ability to get the headband right down just above your eyebrows for maximum sweat channeling efficiency without having the bill of the hat down really low. You can also adjust the bill slightly without having to re-position the headband. Other than that I'm right towards the end of the size adjustment with my huge melon but it fits :)

The BEST sweat management hat ever made! I have tried a LOT of different hats for controlling sweat while running, working, or hiking. the rubber sweat band really works. And unlike some hats that you have to pull way down to get the sweat band low enough to protect your eyes, the Halo sweatband is hinged so you can have it lower or higher than the bill. The Halo Sport Hat also looks good and is very light weight. I like having the velcro strap for adjusting the width without a strap hanging loose. The bill is just long enough to provide effective shade for the eyes but not so long it catches in the wind or gets in the way while working. Also, the underside of the bill is black to reduce sun glare, unlike so many similar hats that are the same color on top and bottom of the bill. I sweat heavily and this hat soaks it up and actually feels cooler than no hat at all. I like it for running, biking, working in the yard, hiking, working in a warehouse, or just a day on the beach. Really, this is the perfect hat if you sweat so much that it runs into your eyes, or you need to pour water over your head for cooling. "Water blindness" will never happen with the Halo Sport Hat. The construction is top quality and the price is lower than many competitors of lesser functionality. My ONLY complaint has nothing to do with quality, fit or function: it is lack of some color choices. I would really, really like to be able to get this Halo hat in tan/khaki, and some shade of green from Kelly green to olive drab. I have the grey and navy blue but would much prefer the tan and green colors.

Really disappointed. The majority of the cap is a really weird material and no matter how it is fitted, it rides up just enough to be annoying and distracting and reduce the efficacy of the sweat band feature that makes their other products so useful in what I do. I like their visors well enough but wanted more overall protection from blazing Florida sun. It all comes down to being unable to justify bad fit, ineffective construction and reduction in the quality that can cause distraction while I’m working with horses. I’d return them but I wouldn't want a used hat if I were buying so I’ll probably wash these and pass them on to someone else to give them a try. Not sure I’ll try Halo products again though. If anyone out there knows of a similar product that they like better, I’d love your recommendation.

Hat worked really well, I wore it to work and playing sport.

I have Hyper Hydrosis and this hate is awesome. Good quality build works very well, washes well, does a better job keeping sweat out of my eyes and costs similar to or less than say an UnderArmour hat which seems to be made of the same material but does not have the dedicated sweatband portion.
