Great pen. And the bullet pen I got was small and sturdy. Easily fit into front or back pockets. You'll always have a pen when you need it. A great gift for anyone. And it writes upside down! The thickness is nominal, easy to carry around. The color comes in shiny (spicy) metal or dark metal. An original and though there's been copies, not as good as the original.

Love the pen. Writes wel, very tiny and feels solid in the hand. Even with bigger hands.

I heard about the Fisher Space Bullet Pen on another website showcasing the best-rated pens on the internet. I was shopping for a quality pen that I could use for writing on a daily basis, such as jotting down ideas or coming up with that next great blockbuster. I picked the matte black version of the Fisher Bullet Space Pen because it included a clip to attach to a pocket or a notebook. When I received the pen, I will admit, I immediately became worried that I made a bad purchase. IT'S SO SMALL!!! I saw pictures, and read descriptions, but I never considered how small of a footprint it actually leaves! It quickly changed once I removed the cap and attached it to the end of the base of the pen. It was a standard size pen at that point, so it was time to try it out. I'm into the ”Everday Carry” lifestyle, and the Fisher Bullet Space Pen has not let me down! I have a writing kit that I carry with me to work when I want to work on a project during lunch breaks, and it's small stature allows me to comfortably carry it in the kit. Also, I have a pocket Field Notes notebook that I attached a clip to, and then I connected the pen to it, and carry it in my lapel pocket for whenever I come up with something I need to write down when I can't have my phone out. It's great to have that luxury of discretion! It is now my go-to pen for most planning and projects. It does not smudge, it writes smoothly, fits comfortably in my hand, and doesn't bleed through any and all standard paper types! The manufacturer states that the ink will last a long time, so I'm not too worried about getting a refill anytime soon. I would like to see a matte red and matte blue version with corresponding ink, as I would immediately buy those to add to my collection of writing tools! I highly recommend this pen!

It writes pretty well, like a regular good pen. Not nearly as well as my Mont Blanc. I’m not taking it into space, or writing upside down on grease, like Fisher says is possible. It is a beautiful pen though, and for that reason I love it. It fits nicely and unobtrusively in my jeans pocket, making it easy to take it with me wherever I go. But really, the high point is that it is such a beautifully designed pen. Well worth the $30.

I bought this pen to carry in my pocket everyday as a companion to my pocket moleskine notebook. As someone who lives in a suburban area and has a generally unexciting life, I feel that while it is nice that this pen can supposedly write in space or underwater or upside down, I bought it primarily for its durability so that it can survive daily use and abuse especially as it sits with my keys in my pockets. In this department, this pen is excellent. It feels high quality, with a solid build and lack of rattling. When you put the cap on, the pen becomes shorter than the length of my moleskine notebook but when you place the pen cap on the back of the pen for writing the pen becomes full sized. The metal finish is high quality and I have not been able to scratch it yet even though it mixes with my keys in my pocket. This would have been the perfect pen for every day use and carry had it not been for one minor issue which some other reviews have also addressed: the pen occasionally writes evenly, causing globs of ink to spill or causing the pen to scratch at my notebook due to lack of ink flow. While this is definitely not acceptable for most pens, I feel I can overlook this as my primary use for this pen is to write chicken scratch to do lists and random thoughts in my notebook. The smeared ink and sometimes faded writing doesn't really contribute to the overall purpose of this pen as it still writes reliably, just not the most neatly. Overall, this was a great purchase and I will be buying more in the future once I manage to wear this one out.

It's very small when the cap is on but when open and put on the end it's normal sized. It feels great and is easy to use. Since the cap covers the tip of the pen, it doesn't need to retract. There are several colors to choose from and it is fairly good value for the price. I really like the way space pens write so quickly and easily.

La calidad de la tinta es muy buena, la escritura es muy suave y muy nitida, la textura mate y el cilp son perfectos. Cosa mala el terminado mate es muy sensible. retiré el clip y se rayó un poco, pero nada que sea de gravedad. El tamaño cerrada es de 9.3 cm aprox. y abierta 13.5 cm aprox. El peso de la pluma es muy poco, lo cual la hace de muy fácil porte y a veces hasta olvidar que se trae. Un punto a favor es que en esta version inluye el clip, y es más barata la pluma con clip que sin clip. Y el clip es removible con mucha fuerza, solo esta puesto a presion. La caja de plastico donde viene la pluma es muy bonita y de buena calidad. sinceramente esta compra vale la pena
