Works well, snug but stable fit. No contoured or fuzzy interior surface, but does the job of reducing glare and protecting the front glass element. Great for your rf 24-105mm kit lens.

may be inexpensive but it works just fine. I was concerned it might cause vignetting but it doesn't. I'm very pleased.

Perfect fit on my RF 18-150 mm Canon lens. Locks in place as it should and material is good.

I never had the OEM Sony hood, so I can't compare it to this, but this one is excellent build quality and cheap enough to replace if it does break.

When it comes to lens hoods, the main differentiating factor seems to be the price. They look the same, work the same, fit the same, but you pay less for this one. I got two for two cameras. Money very well spent.

Bought this for my RF-S 18-150. It does fit, and it does what it's supposed to do, but it doesn't fit very tight, and easily rotates around, causing it to either fall off, or cause vignetting. Although it's quite a bit more, my next one will be the actual Canon hood.
