Ran a 1500 watt portable heater no problem

Great inverter
What can I say? Works great, no complaints. Has run an ac pump and an air compressor no sweat.

Worked great initially, failed after a few hours in the first power outage!
After it failed, I hooked up a generator and confirmed the load it had been driving was under 10 amps. By failed I mean it made a bad smell and had smoke traces on the PCB when I opened it. A blown fuse or tripping an overload protection would have been okay but this was just a hard failure of one of the power semicondutors. Not good. Too much time passed between when I bought it and when I first used it to get any customer service. Avoid.
