Best boots I've had. I do alot of walking and found these very comfortable straightaway. Waterproof and good quality. I would definitely recommend them.

Always love how comfortable Salamons are straight away, don’t think I’ll need to break these in. Arch support feels great, ankles feel supported without being constricted. Hopefully the waterproof claim holds up, will update in future.

I recently tested this shoe, and it was absolutely brilliant. The waterproofing is outstanding—I stood and walked in a lake for 10-15 minutes, and my feet stayed completely dry. The material does a fantastic job of keeping water out while still being breathable and comfortable for long walks. It’s cost-effective and great value for my money. Since the design sits below the ankle, water can get in if it’s too deep, so it’s best for shallow streams, wet trails, and rainy conditions rather than full submersion. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for hikers and outdoor lovers, combining reliable waterproofing, comfort, and affordability.

These are my second pair after my last gave up after nearly 10 years of use. . Light, Weather proof, and water proof to a good extent. excellent boot and at a reasonable price compared to elsewhere. I wouldnt use these on hard moutain trails (they would get trashed pretty quickly) but defo for walking the dog through fields in summer especially in morning with the morning dew these keep your feet dry.

Shocking quality, not even slightly waterproof! The goretex label states, " "guaranteed to keep dry" wish this was the case, Amazon wouldn't refund as it was over 30 days, Salomon wouldn't refund as I'd bought them from Amazon! apparently it's Amazon's responsibility to refund. Kept them as they are comfy and light, but not fit for purpose. Salomon were my go to shoe brand, unfortunately this will be my last pair, as if you read the reviews online, the quality issues are widespread. Spend a little more and get something you can rely on on the hills.

Bought these just before a couple of 16 mile walls and they performed brilliantly. Good grip, completely waterproof even walking through long wet grass and fully breathable. My socks were completely dry at the end of both days. I’m normally a size 11/12 but ordered these size 13.5UK and they fitted really well. Suggest you order in a bigger size. Highly recommended

These boots are very good. As a postman, I walk a lot of miles on the pavement, so I need a shoe that has a hard wearing sole, comfortable, and most importantly that is waterproof. These boots tick those boxes very well. Of course, you need to look after them, so I make sure I use a good Gore-Tex boot cleaner and then I spray on a re proofer if I've been out in heavy rain in them. I average around 16,000 - 20,000 steps a day in these, and by around the 5th month of having them the sole will be worn through. But, I'm happy with that compared to other boots I've had. I will however only get these when they're on offer, for me that's been from around £79 - £95. I don't want to pay more than that for work shoes. I recommend these boots.

Second pair au have bought… sturdy and comfortable with flexible sole ideal for walking or running suit.

Gut zu tragen, gut verarbeitet, gutes Profil, interessantes und praktisches Schnürsystem. Fallen etwas kleiner aus als meine "gewohnten" Größen, achtet darauf beim Kauf! Ansonsten auch nach intensivem Einsatz immer noch prima und keine größeren Verschleißanzeigen. Wasserdicht kann ich bestätigen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
