Petroleum jelly used to be a lot cheaper and it's hard to find things in their normal price now. It works just like Vaseline. It's no different.

Good as a hair dressing or skin cream. This product also works well if you have someone who is sick and bed bound. If you lubricate the patient with this product entirely after their sponge bath, it will help prevent bed sores.

A friend told me that if you spread Vaseline onto cardboard, it will make a good firestarter. She was right!! When I run out of firestarters, for a temporary solution, I will start rubbing Vaseline on cardboàrd and it's never failed to give me a bright fire quickly.
