Got it for touching up the bottom of my jetski and it worked great. Just what I expected. It can be a little messy to use, but it stayed on great.

Great product, slightly brown when put directly on old black gel but still black. If that makes sense.

This stuff is great! But, you have to work really fast or else it will set quickly if you mix it according to the instructions. Don't use the recommended amount of hardener if you are working in a bad position.

This product did not cure properly. I have been doing fiberglass repairs for more than 20 years. I made a first application and the gelcoat did not cure properly. Cleaned that up and made a second application doubling the quantity of MEK (Catalyst) thinking it would cure very quickly. 2 days later it is still tacky to the touch. My guess is that it does not have the Wax additive in it. But I specifically purchased gelcoat with wax so it would cure. Buyer be ware.

Gave a 1 star. Then changed it. Takes a long time to react. When it does work time is short and clumpy.

I figured the results from this gelcoat would be satisfactory and just get the job done so I could get back on the water. But to my surprise the results were amazing. I watched some YouTube videos prior. I didn't skip any steps either. I used exact measurements with the provided measuring cup. After mixing and spreading the gelcoat I let it dry overnight. Next day I started with 60 grit, then to 400, 600, 1000, 2000, 3000. Then used several coats of marine wax with an orbital buffer. Buffed out to a shine. The result were professional. Total time for this repair was around 2 hours total labor time.

Excellent Gelcoat for making new things!!! I use wooden moulds, painted and then waxed with Pure Carnauba Wax, then a nice silicon release. Applying the Gelcoat, and shortly afterwards fibreglass, resin, etc - Wait and then new part easily pops right out - beautifully smooth - Have not had a part pop out this good for a long time! Will be buying more shortly! Highly recommended for fibreglass work - if you want superior quality!!
