This was the right size and thickness to shim a loose AR barrel into an upper. Smooth and easy to trim. It did what I needed done - what more praise can a roll of metal ask for?

The product was exactly and described and what I needed. I used it to shim a AR15 barrel extension into the upper receiver. Worked great.

I bought this intending to use it to fit slightly loose rifle barrels better to the receiver. Making sure I used the thinnest shim stock I could find (0.001”), I had to experiment a bit using a trial and error method to get the exact length cut for the perfect fit. But ultimately, when it came together, it worked out great. The barrel fit is solid with zero play. You must take care when cutting the metal, but sharp scissors work fine…you just want to insure the cut edge stays flat and smooth.
