I've had one of the Dyson heaters for years but it's started to make odd noises and I can't find any way to dismantle it to see what's wrong. I saw this and it looked good, small size, all the features, reduced price for black friday so bought one. It's amazing! It sits there totally silent then heats the room then goes quiet again. Fantastic for a bedroom as no irritating humming noise while it monitors the room temperature. It was so good, I bought another one while it was reduced.

This is an amazing heater.I watched a guy review every aspect of 8 diff space heaters & this came out on top for everything from how quickly it heat up, to the saftey aspects including tipping it over on a plastic bag & placing a thick pillow slip over all the heaters.This out performed an over priced dyson.Is it silent?don't be silly it has a fan in it.It's easy to move,looks good,handy remote.Heats really quickly.You will get an initial smell while it burns off chemicals.I have a huge BUT, this is where I have 2 issues with it & I'm going to be clear it's not the heaters fault well mainly.I have a 2400 Watt electric power bank,fully charged.I was using the Dreo on eco setting, I tried it between 12C 16C 18C 20C.The heater claims to be 1800 watts.It was pulling up to 1900 Watts?It used 25W in just an hour half on16.I tried it on all diff eco settings from 12c to 20 as stated.Power station was at zero in less than 6 hours.Right now the price of electric is expensive.1 kilowatt hour is 49p to use this going by my energy provider.My gas is under 6p per kwh.The energy bills due to the standing charge,electric/gas are being put up,& VAT in Jan 2026.Unless u are on a fixed energy tarriff, especially for electric which I'm not currently on, but deffo going to change to, your gas heating is cheaper right now.Until I worked out the costs, that it pulled more energy than claimed & yes everyone knows it will pull more energy when something is first turned on , but it was still over 1800 watts.If you are trying to save money, turn all plugs off, put more layers on, brushed cotton duvets, hot water bottles, investing in a really decent flask thermos to keep drinks hot, so less boiling of the kettle ect.I am a prepper,but I got this because across by my bed it's always colder & slightly damp.Yes it would be worth putting on for half an hour twice a day along with 2 of those damp traps.If the power went out, I'd just use my propane (camping stove gas) heater which will heat for 6 hours for 1 can.My gen fan had to kick in with just 1 item plugged into it.I've never had that issue in a blackout with several things plugged in & charging up phones or rechargable lights.I bought a 2nd,before I did the power station test, so sadly it's going back.

This little heater packs a lot of punch for its size. I immediately tested it versus my central heating, and found it heats my living room considerably faster than the radiators. It really doesn't take long even in the winter, when I've been out and left the heating on, to get the room warm. I'm definitely impressed by its output, and my rooms have high ceilings so I assume it would be even better if I didn't, although they're not enormous length and width, fairly standard sized terrace rooms. I've also ran the numbers with my smart meter app, and found it could definitely save me money versus heating the entire house just to get one room warm (I live on my own and usually spend the evening either in my bedroom or my living room), although I've no idea how it would compare economically to running just the radiator of the room I'm in - other than that it would be far far faster. It's also great that it has a little internal thermostat to keep the room temperature at a good level. I think most people would save money using this if they're usually only keeping one room warm, but with the caveat that you should keep windows and doors closed whilst doing this, or else you're sending the warm air away and the heater will run almost constantly to try to keep up and may cost a pretty penny. I've noticed a few little inconsistencies with it (the other night I put the temp down a degree even though it wasn't sending heat out, then suddenly it came on), but on the whole it seems to keep the temperature at a good level, with a handy remote to control it. It's also pretty light, with a little carry groove, making it easy to relocate it to another room. Really, the only drawback, and it can be an expensive one so I've knocked a whole star off, is the way its switch off timer works. You can set how many hours of idling it takes before the heater switches itself off. But it seems every time you switch the device off (or at least when you switch it off at the wall, which I believe the instruction manual says to do when you leave it unattended) whatever number you've set previously is gone, and it seems like it goes back to a default of probably 12 hours. So when you start it up again, you have to remember to put the idling timer back to something sensible. If you forget to do this, and to switch the device off yourself, then go to bed say, it will keep running for up to 12 hours heating a room with nobody in it, which of course can get expensive. It's such a shame, because it seems a simple oversight/design flaw to have fixed, but if you're not diligent it may wipe out any cost savings (when my friend was over and left it running for hours when I was asleep, and kept the doors open, it ran me up about £7 a day above my normal bill). I don't see in this day and age how it would cost any more to have it remember your last setting - it does remember the last temperature you set. On a similar note, another weird quirk is that if the heater isn't actively heating the room, and you press the power button, it just brings up the lit-up digits to tell you what temperature you've set the heater to. This implies the heater is on, which it already was. If you press it again the number vanishes, but I'm not clear yet on whether this second press fully switches the heater off. I think it does, as the small white light showing the Eco setting I'm using vanishes, but the small red light stays on. If the heater is actively heating and you press the power button, it starts a 15-second timer to switching off. It would be nice if it did this when the heater isn't active too, to make it nice and clear. Until I'm sure it's turning off I'll have to switch it off at the plug every time. It could just be a little easier to tell when this thing is fully off. With just a few simple tweaks to the programming, this could easily have got a 5 star from me, so if you think you can look past these quirks and be diligent switching it off, it's still one I could recommend. Oh, I also ordered the gold but received the silver. Just something to be aware of if the aesthetics matter to you, you may end up with either version.

This heater is seriously a lifesaver during these cold snaps. It heats up my whole living room so quickly, which is amazing. I love how quiet it is too; you barely even know it's running. Plus, it's really easy to move around to wherever I need it most. Definitely a solid purchase if you're looking for some extra warmth.

Hi quality materials well constructed with a handhold at the back to lift it. The portable size does not retract from its capabilities. Heats a room quickly, doesn’t overheat although powerful is very quiet. Highly recommend this heater.

Am Sonntag bestellt und am Mittwoch in die Schweiz geliefert. Wir haben seit 3 Jahren eine Wärmepumpe, aber im oberen Stock will es einfach nicht so richtig warm werden. Sehr ärgerlich. Deshalb nun die Unterstützung durch 2 Dreo Heizlüfter. Die Heizlüfter funktionieren perfekt. Bedienung über Gerät oder Fernbedienung ist einfach und selbsterklärend. Die Heizlüfter sind angenehm leise und auch nach längerem Gebrauch ist kein Geruch feststellbar. Die Zimmer sind nach kurzer Zeit (2-3 Minuten) wohlig warm. Die gewünschte Temperatur kann gehalten werden. Und ausserdem sehen die Dinger noch recht ansprechend aus. Wenn man sich sonst so Lüfter anschaut, die kann man überall hinstellen, nur nicht in die Wohnung.
