The laptop was an older model, and the price of the battery was well below any competitor pricing. However, it arrived quickly and works perfectly! We were very pleased.

Our laptop's battery on the MacBook Pro was expanding to the point it was making our laptop bowl. It looked like the keyboard was popping and the laptop wouldn't close all the way anymore. Looked into getting it fixed by Apple and they were going to charge $200 plus dollars for the repair and the guy said that if anything goes wrong they are not responsible and we will still have to pay for the service regardless if they are able to do it or not. I thought that was really unfair of them and very bad customer service on Apple's part. So I went to Youtube watching videos on the process and it didn't seem that hard so I purchased this battery for a 2015 MacBook Pro for around $60 after tax and shipping. The process went fairly smooth as I already had the tools to open up the laptop. I am fairly decent at repairing electronics as I been doing it for a few years as a hobby. I also have some soldering skills just to give you an idea of my skillset. However, this installation was fairly easy. The hardest part about this battery replacement process was removing the actual old battery as it has adhesive and is stuck to the laptop casing. All I can say is that if you are patient, you will have no problems. Just take your time and carefully pull away the battery slowly as to not puncture it. There are gases in it that is not good to inhale. Try to do it in a well ventilated area. I also used a dull butter knife to assist with scraping the battery adhesive away from the casing. Just go VERY slow. Take your time and do not rush it. Watch at least 2 or 3 Youtube videos to get a good idea of what you are up against before starting and also buy a good tool kit for the job. You can find one on Amazon. Just search MacBook Pro repair tools or something to that nature. After the battery was installed, it now looks back to normal aesthetically and the life of the battery lasts longer than the old one. Anyway, thanks for reading and hope this review helps you out.

It works for a short time.

Nice to be able to have a new battery that can be easy to change out without having to take apart the laptop. I have yet to see how long it lasts but that depends on it's usage. I does give an estimated amount of time that it will last. Edit: I got about 6 hours of use time after I dimmed the screen a little. Probably would have got more but I use this in a 17 inch laptop. Second edit: It has proven to be a long lasting battery for about7 to 9 hours of light use.

Perfect fit at a good price. I followed the instructions of charging the battery to 100% and then letting it run down to about 10% and did this three times. The previous battery I had Lasted for about 2 1/2 years, but I failed to do the procedure of charging and then discharging the battery 3 times for battery longevity. I’m hoping this battery will last well past three years.

Works great

Right most latch tab broke off the second it was inserted, and the slider switch popped out. Now it's extremely loose in the machine. Absolutely horrible quality control and poorly constructed product. I was able to reinstall the switch, but the broken latch tab is a lost cause. If it was the middle latch, it would have been fine. Even the left tab might have been okay. Oh, and yes, the designed Watt Hours is wrong. But I knew that going into it. I should note to anyone who purchases, you will get 96Wh out of it, but the chip on it or reporting says only 84.24, yet after a few discharge cycles, it will go up to ~96 at full. At idle I get about 11 hours of battery life.
