A more robust charger at 5 amps than one that never fully charged at 3 amps and then totally failed
As indicated in the headline this is a much more robust and effective charger than one it replaces. I was forced to replace a new battery charger specifically designated as for a mobility scooter suppled by a well known company trading for people with all forms of disability. It never fully charged new batteries and proved sufficient battery power for less than a few miles and then totally failed. I am happy with the new charger which provides power for many more miles.
