I was looking for a product in which I could display a small part of my stamp collection, I saw these acid free punched pockets which appeared to be the answer to my problems. As the advertisement said they are robust, are A4 compatible, and show the contents well, do they preserve the contents without the inks migrating, you'll have to wait for fifty or so years, I hope so.

I expect that everyone knows what a "poly-pocket" is and that it is useful for storing documents (typically A4 in size) and to store or display in a ring binder. What you may not know however is there are differences in terms of quality of these pockets. Should you want to display something precious or irreplaceable you should spend a bit more and get something that will protect its contents. These "Enigma Heavy Duty Acid Free Archival Safe A4 Pockets" are exactly that, featuring 110 micron clear polypropylene for very clear viewing and eleven multi punched holes to fit 2, 3 and 4 ring binders. They open at the top (short end) and the acid-free design means they won't bleech any colours or ink out of whatever document is put inside. They are also must more robust and thicker than your typical pocket. They are currently available in packet sizes of 10,25 and 50 - the bigger the packet the slightly cheaper it costs for each pocket. While they may seem expensive compared to the poly pockets you usually find in the shops, the quality is a thousand times better and really speaks for itself. I'm using mine to store autographs and I'm confident from my own research and from other reviewers that they will be safe and fade-free for years to come.

These pockets appear to be of good, sturdy quality though I haven’t had long to try them out.

Used for storing A4 photographic prints, good transparency. My only slightly negative finding is yes they are A4 but only just (only just have to be I suppose) and getting prints into them is not easy.
