I'm not a cooking person, and it's hard for me to make a perfect meal for dinner after work on weekdays; so I prefer using broth tablets for my meals to add a more savory taste. This one made things a whole lot easier than before.First of all, very convenient. It has a package for each tablet which makes the tablet not destroy each other inside the container. Some previous products were too fragile and I had to find the pieces inside the container.Second, doesn't have any fishy smell or unpleasant taste. I was really worried about this since I am not a big fan of the fishy smell; It has a clean taste instead.Also, this tablet doesn't contain any meats, except seafood, it is totally fine with pescatarian people. It makes a perfect replacement for chicken broth.Last but not least, it is great with some pasta recipes. I haven't used it on the stews, but it worked great on pasta and soup, as it was told in the description. I was doubting at first with that part of the description, but it turned the table within the moment when I tasted it for the first time.Would I buy this again? Yes, definitely.

Absolutely delish fish broth!!

UPDATE: I have an MSG and Yeast Extract allergy, and I got a reaction to these. The entire package is in Korean so there's no way to verify the ingredients, but it seems to contain MSG or Yeast Extract. So be careful if you are also sensitive to that.I was disappointed when the package arrived -- it's very slim and slight, not much for the money. It also smelled bad when I opened it, but I've made fish broth from sachets before, so I know it can smell pretty rank and turn out delicious. A single coin is good for about a cup of broth. It's fine for a quick cup of something warm and nourishing after work, but not really as a soup base. It would take the entire package to make a pot of soup.Still, the small amount I made tasted good. I'll be making this during the winter for a quick, warming cup of broth and using sachets from H-Mart if I want to make a real pot of soup. Four stars for ease of use and flavor. I would give it 5 stars if more came in the package so it would be worth actually making soup.

I like these. I crush one up and add it to my rice cooker. Makes rice taste more umami. Not the strongest of fishy flavor tho.

Not as good as dashi bags

Purchased this product to use when making a soup base, and was very pleased with the results. It was convenient to use, not too salty, and resulted in a satisfying flavor (not too fishy). I would purchase again.

I'm trying to lose some weight and I like salty snacks rather than sweet snacks. This can become a filling, low-calorie soup. I like to put two tablets in a mug of water. Note that the best way to use tablets like this for me has to been to ground them down with a mortar and pestle (takes less than 10 seconds) and then add the hot water. Otherwise, the tablets are not going to dissolve (in a mug of water) before the water gets cold. Keep in mind, these things have a huge amount of salt in them, so use caution.

I bought the anchovy flavor for my first time just to try, I put 1 tablet in and microwaved it to dissolve it and that wasn't enough flavor so I added another and repeated that, it wasn't strong to be honest and I know people say tasteless or bland or some other crap but in my honest opinion I think by itself you'll need atleast 3 for 1 serving in a 20 ounce bowl if you dont want to add other spicesRecently I also bought tomato powder, dehydrated onions and also some Korean noodle spice, I took 3 table spoons of dehydrated onions, 1 generous table spoon of tomato powder, 1 tea spoon of Korean ramen soy based spice and added them on top of the 2 anchovy tablets and made my broththen I took 2 firebull brand ramen packs and set them in the broth, added some water and added the sauce that came with the ramen and cooked in the microwave for 10 minutes and 30 seconds and I'd say it came out greatAt the end of the day anchovy tablets are better off being used as a background flavor, an enhancer because by itself it isn't strong and I dont think it was meant to be, as for my opinion of anchovy flavor it's my first time trying anything anchovy so I was skeptical but it worked with the other flavors I added so in the end it was worth the buy😊
