Great watches
I've had a few casios over the years and i love them. Good looking. Good quality. Practical. Cheap. Well worth the money and THEY LAST. I have casios that I've had for years and the watch still ticks

Takes F91W's Lunch Money; Buys W217H With It
I've always had poor punctuality. I don't want to, I just wasn't raised right in some ways and am undoing some bad habits. I've never owned a watch before and the idea of a smartwatch is unappealing to me- I want to be LESS plugged into screens, not more. This is my first watch and it's helping my on-timeness. I want to look at it because the black and dusty gold are so visually appealing to me, along with the '90s digital aesthetic. Looking at it so often keeps the time ever in my mind, as does the hourly beep feature. I've got bad vision and the larger digits than F91W are perfect for the distance from my eyes to my wrist without making for too big a face. I don't think I like visually striking watches and the size of this case is perfect for my wrist and style. It doesn't feel like you spent $300 on it, of course, but in terms of build quality, it feels like you spent more than $30 for sure. I'd compare it to Koss headphones- it probably won't last forever, but it'll last for years if you take care of it and when it comes time for replacement, who cares? It's $30. That value proposition is unbeatable in my opinion. The box is the classic blue and white Casio packaging and included is the plastic store display stand- nothing pretty, but still thoughtful packaging in my opinion. Setting up the watch is beginner friendly and straight forward with the included manual. I got the buttons figured out mostly without the manual in around 5 minutes and I've never set up a watch before. Switching between 24hr and 12hr time is handy for my line of work. The alarm and stopwatch functions are intuitive and useful. The featureset and design are truly everything I need and nothing I don't as I'm not a jetsetter, a diver, a stockbroker or a sailor. The backlight is bright and an attractive amber color on the black with gold line model (hold to illuminate). The buttons are easy to find in the dark and easy to press without being accidentally pressed to easily once you get used to wearing a watch. I've ordered 18mm lug width adapter brackets for mine and replaced the stock band with a NATO G10 band that I find a tad more attractive and infinitely more durable according to reviews. I got the adapters here on Amazon for $8. The quick release pins that came preinstalled with the stock resin band attached seem to be of better quality than the aftermarket ones available on Amazon. They came out and went back in smoothly without damaging the resin case or their mounting holes. I really do think the stock resin band is attractive enough, especially for what you pay, but it did make my wrist sweat, I've heard they crack and crumble with time, and I just like fiddling with stuff to be frank. If you're looking for a sub-$100 watch, I'd save your money, skip anything analog and go with your choice of Casio- I imagine they're all as competently designed, functional, and consistently build as the W217H. Plus, they are just plain COOL- and always will be.

Don’t Overthink It, Just Get It
Amazing watch! Can’t believe how cheaply priced this watch is for what you get. I also have big hands and wrist, the watch looks right at home, not too big but not too small; and at the same time I don’t think it’d look too big on a smaller wrist. 10/10 would recommend! Definitely buying other colors as well.

Excellent watch!
Of all the Casio digital watches that I own, I think this is the only one with a gold-colored case. I really like the way it looks. Feature-wise, the watch is very basic - time, alarm and stopwatch. No dual time or world time features. The time display is very easy to read.

Easy to read simple digital watch
It’s basically a larger F91W with an improved light. Nice sized watch for 8 1/2” wrist. (See photo for size comparison with 40mm Apple Watch) The light works great and is easy to read in the dark. It’s very light on the wrist and durable. The big face makes it easy to read the time at a glance. The alarm is loud enough to get the job done, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my wake up alarm. I like the look of the watch and I really like the lack of distracting features. I wish it had a countdown timer.

The F91W Grew Up.
Glad I heard about this watch. My F91W is a good little watch-- great value for its price-- & justifiably a classic from Casio, the undisputed king of digital watches. But the F91W is smal-- more like a boy's watch-- with a truly sorry light & the bare minimum of water resistance. Couple bucks more (truly) gets you this watch, which is grownup size but not oversized & has actually useful water resistance & great illumination. Same functions as the F91W, which means what you need in a basic watch without a bunch of silly James Bond crap you'll probably never use. Another improvement is greatly improved legibility. Actually the most legible digital I have. The one drawback is the strap. It's smooth & a bit long for my taste. This keeps the single keeper from holding it perfectly flat, but there is no reason you couldn't clip a half-inch or so off of it. Certainly no kind of a dealbreaker in an awesome daily-wear watch that cost me less than $20. Definitely can recommend.

its a retro style, minimilistic looking watch that shows the day date and time has a alarm and light
i was worried at first but my worries was unnecessary! its a real Casio watch ,thanks supplier, will need to wait 7 years to see if battery lasts that long i hope! i don't press buttons all the time so it should! would be interested in replacement battery in future and new band and maybe new seal for battery cover from same supplier. this is my first Casio ,i am 45 years old and felt like i finally have what my classmates had in school more than 20 years ago ,i have been now more than 5 years without a watch but had a cellphone all the time so did not feel the need for a watch ,but there are times when you don't want to take your phone out to check the time and then you need a simple time keeper like this!

my daily wear
I have several watches from Omega to Seiko and many micro brands in between. I got this watch because it reminded me of my first watch as a kid. As soon as I got it this it has been my main time piece for the last few months. I don't have to wind my watch or set the date ever. the price is still amazing as it ever was. It's easy to read and the light is great. I don't have to worry about the lume not being charged by light at night. The band is comfortable and fits my wrist as a full adult man. I have worked on my car and have done a bunch of yard work without any damage to this watch at all. I would suggest buying a screen protector but other that that its sturdy and keeps perfect time.
