I have to admit that I did not think this was going to work at first. Mouth guard felt very bulky and uncomfortable at first- like I had a mouthful of marbles. I fell asleep in 20 minutes on night 1 and have been sleeping well ever since. Either my wife or I was going to the couch often due to my snoring. She was irritated, and I was irritated with the constant nudging. My snoring is reduced by 90-95%. It is a non- issue now. Plans for separate bedrooms are canceled. I don’t find it uncomfortable at all anymore. It does move my teeth but everything realigns quickly. Slobbering is definitely a negative. I slobber like a Rottweiler every night but way better than the alternative.

Better than some, but still not right for me
I still have not found the right anti-snore mouthpiece for me. The good: It was easy to mold to my teeth and does not have any hard or sharp edges like some others. It also has a breathing hole so if you become congested in the middle of the night and need to breathe through your mouth you can. The bad: It is not adjustable front to back like some others — it holds the jaw in place, but does not advance it forward beyond what little you can do during the molding process. It is too small top to bottom — As someone who has fought tooth grinding as well as snoring, I try to follow the mantra "teeth apart, lips together." But this mouthguard requires the teeth to be close together. If I let my jaw drop open so my teeth are apart, my bottom teeth disengage with the mouth guard and then it is no longer holding my jaw in place. The mouth guard either needs to be thicker, top to bottom, or should be hinged to move with the jaw as the mouth opens and closes.

RIP-OFF!
I have been using anti snoring devices for several years, mouth, in the nose, chin strap, and one that blows air into the nose. This one is without any doubt the worst and miss advertised one of all. It is hard to believe that even the worst dentist would support this piece of junk. I mistakenly ordered it by not paying close attention to what I selected. I intended to order the one with an adjustment bar on each side that keeps the lower jaw out in front of the upper one. I didn't realize the error until I received it. Of course it wasn't returnable, so I decided since I was stuck with it my only choice was to try it. It would be a little easier to throw it away since it cost $59.99, the same as the good one. This one would be a rip off at $2.

Here's what you need to know
For me, It works! I could understand it's not for everybody, but this mouth guard has been a nice surprise. A couple of things will happen if you stick with its use. For the first month or two, you're going to wake up and your teeth are going to be sore. Maybe because I grind? Who knows. Your lips may be dry in the morning. Really dry. So before you go to bed, apply ChapStick. You may drool a little during the night. I've learned to accept it. Other than those minor occurrences my sleep has improved 1000%. I can't remember a time when I've slept better. My snoring is not completely gone but has subsided considerably. For the money, I gave it a shot and It works.

Maybe it would be good if it would stay in place
The good: The company offers 30 day money back guarantee. The product wasn't that hard to prepare and use and the paper work is good. The shippng was fast. The price is reasonable. It would probably cost a ton more to get an ortho made appliance. The deal breaker: Unlike an upper only anti grinding appliance, this is an upper/lower anti-snore, sleep apnea type appliance. My experience was it would simply only stay in place for the first three or four hours of sleep and then the mouth would relax, and it would fall out. If you think about the design, the upper part is more snug with longer teeth, and it mostly rests on the shorter lower teeth. Yes if it would stay in place, you would definitely stop snoring and you would be forced to breath through your mouth, if you used the plastic insert as well to close the gap. (But make sure your airway in the nose is clear because you don't want to smother). I would use Flonaise before using the appliance. The only thing I could do to keep it in place was to try a little dental adhesive in it so it would stick some to my teeth. But it's not enjoyable to spend ten minutes the next day trying to clean up that slimey glue from the mouth and teeth and appliance. Eh. So I'm returning it and I'm going to see if I can find something that will stay in place.
