This is a new supplement for me but, from a little research online, I thought I would give it a go. Mimosa Pudica is anti-bacterial, anti-venom, anti-fertility, anti-convulsant, anti-depressant, aphrodisiac, and has various other pharmacological activities. The herb has been used traditionally for ages, in the treatment of urogenital disorders, piles, dysentery, sinus, and also applied on wounds. The pot contains 120 capsules supplying 1000mg of Mimosa Pudica and it is recommended to take two per day, therefore this pot will last around two months. These capsules are easily swallowed and there is no aftertaste. I have been taking them for around two weeks and really can’t tell yet if they are of benefit. I will stick with them as two weeks is a little soon to tell if they are working. Not bad value for money

This product works without being graphic my body has been cleansed. I feel so much better after the cleanse. I will continue for a couple of weeks to ensure that everything is gone. I’ll repeat in 6 months time.

Did a parasite cleanse last week and there was die-off, but not much “clearance”. These tablets arrived yesterday and I have taken 8 since then and have been amazed by the results. I will continue for a week at current dose then will move to a maintenance dose long term as like the idea of my insides being nicely cleared out. I really like this brand I’m also using another supplement of theirs for liver support.

I haven't found any side effects with the capsules so far. I am not sure if they are benefitting me as well. It is probably a little early to tell. They are expensive supplements for sure.

So I just wanted to say that if you feel better after taking this then that is all that matters. Mimosa pudica seems to have many health benefits. That being said after opening a capsule in water and stirring with a chopstick it turns into this strong jelly substance that if you try and pick it up stretches out like a worm. I've been taking 2 in am and 2 in PM and after digging through poop with chopstick finding long worm like things. But when you take a closer look with a microscope and feel it and smush it seems to be exactly like what it was in the water. Not convinced they are worms, I think it's just the Mimosa. I am not trying to be negative here because I really do think this can help your gut and I will continue to take it. I just wanted to be real here, I don't think these are huge worms coming out. Only 1 week in so I will update with any changes. I almost didn't want to say anything because I believe in the power of the mind and the body's ability to heal itself and you should to. Just don't be delusional. You probably don't have huge worm living in your gut. It's not good to obsess about that kind of thing. This seems like a good product and I think you should take it and believe it is helping you because it is. I will keep investigating daily as I want to keep an open mind.

i used this in conjunction with many other of my existing regimens to get my gut health back on track. i have used it every other day for about a month and it has definitely seemed to help my body to make use of the other remedies i have been using with only minimal results. this and milk thistle supplements or a tea with milk thistle in it have been well paired. the first day i took the pudica, i took two capsules in the morning and washed them down wit some celery freshly juiced. i waited over an hour to eat solid foods because it suggested an empty stomach. by the afternoon i had completely forgotten about the new addition to my routine. amusingly, i began to notice what i call a "head shift" or a complete shift in my mood and felt rather in tune with my body. it was a feeling i have not had in a long time, so i noticed it even though it was quite subtle. it was a welcomed change in my mood as well, and i almost felt a bi like i was in a dream. it was a pleasant experience and felt very natural, but the only thing i can really compare it to was like being in a relaxed state such as the post-thanksgiving meal. not being any kind of an expert on the topic, i assume it may be as simple as the pudica interacting with the "second brain" of my gut, which produces many of our important nuerotransmitters such as serotonin. it has brought my thinking to an even more holistic and respectful treatment of my digestive system, since this reminder of the many ways it is vital to health, and mental health, are just so minimally understood from a western clinical perspective. this supplement was perfect, and i have had no issues with interactions as of yet. it seems to be harmonious enough with my body that it does not tax any system in particular, but may be even aiding all the systems it is absorbed into. give it a try!

I have been using a more expensive brand of mimosa pudica seed for 4 years. It was getting a little pricey in that I take up to 14-16 capsules daily. This seed will smother parasites and thus remove them from the small intestine. It is recommended to take 2 capsules twice a day but if one does not see results one can increase the amount of capsules until results are seen. This is what is recommended by the top doctors using this for patients. Mind you that you have to literally check your stool to see these critters that are dead and using a stick works. If you have ever had or are diagnosed with CFS, Lyme and co-infections, mycotoxin illness, etc. these conditions lower the immune system and it cannot address getting rid of parasites. It was traditional for humans to do parasite cleanses but when antibiotics came into existence this practice fell by the wayside. However, it continued with horses, dogs, etc. I will just caution to be a little shocked if you see something. I am so glad that I spotted this product on Amazon and that it works the same as a more expensive product. I am adding an updated review. 10/6/23. Several months ago, the Mimosa pudica seed was not gelling and therefore was devoid of the seed. I notified the company and they refunded my purchase as I had bought several bottles. I asked them to check heir quality control. Since I liked the product for many months, I decided to purchase again hoping that the issue had been remedied. The new bottle of capsules once again gel up. So I am happy with this purchase and plan to order again.

UPDATE: After two months off, I went back on this supplement. I am a widow, so I don’t care about fertility. The reason I went back on this is because this supplement has been a godsend for my hair. My husband passed away unexpectedly and I think the trauma screwed up my hormones…my hair stopped growing at that time, and started shedding heavily a year later. This supplement made the shedding stop, made my hair regrow, gave my hair volume and was amazing for my gut! I started this supplement again on the first day of my menstrual cycle, and this time around, I have not had any issues with my period being abnormal. In my opinion, I may have had a hormone problem that this supplement is fixing. I have been on it going on two months now, and my gut healing has really progressed... Taking this supplement during a watermelon fast, with wormwood, has virtually fixed my histamine intolerance! Could not be more thrilled with it! I plan to stay on this for the foreseeable future. —————- Original review: Just figured out that this mimosa supplement causes my abnormal periods, breast tenderness and abnormal mid cycle bleeding. In some cultures, this plant is used to make women sterile, as birth control, or to induce miscarriages. Side effects in women can literally include sterilization! It did help my gut issues tremendously, but after the side effects surrounding my menstrual cycle, I’m forced to stop taking it. For gut, five stars… Lower for the side effects.
