Key works nice and smoothly every time. More for deterrent then real protection but sometimes deterrent is all you need.

All eight keys fit all four locks.. others say keyed alike and it means each lock THIS IS ALL FOUR LOCK TO ALL EUGHT KEYS TRULY KEYED ALIKE

We bought 4 of these to add to some other locks that we have. They don't fit the bigger boat hitches, but the fact that the lock cylinder is built into the lock makes these so much easier to use than some red ones I purchased at the auto parts store. Because the lock is built in, you can have a taller hitch in the lock and it still clicks into place. Would buy again. The only thing that would make things easier is if you could have them all keyed alike, since we have about 7 boats at any given time on site.
